Run on one tire in place of duals

Yes this is possible but if you drive at any speed over 5 mph you are doing permanent damage to the tire as you are running it at 100% overload.

I'm saying it's possible to drive 5 to 10 miles at 20 mph and not have "blowout" of the single time in place of a set of duals but that one tire should be cut and made scrap and un-usable when it is removed.

No need to carry the jack , breaker bar or anything required for changing a tire , as long as you have the time to wait for roadside assistance.
I don't , so I carry a spare and all the equipment for changing it . Its a small tire compared to some of the tractor tires I've changed.

Have you looked? All Sprinters come with a bottle jack, tool kit, etc, under the Passengers feet. Lift up the mat, carpet, whatever, and lift up the floor panel. There should be a nice two stage German made bottle jack in there.
