Jeep Wrangler Tow for Navion/View

I know that the Wrangler is right at the top of the allowable tow rating for the Navion/View but is anyone towing a 2 door Jeep? They have the right combination of function and towability but if they are too heavy I would not consider them as a tow. Would love to hear practical experience.

I sometimes tow my 2004 Wrangler TJ Rubicon with my 2015 View 24G Profile. The Jeep is on the heavy side with 33-inch tires, skid plates, tools, and winch so the combined weight is right at the allowable max if I'm traveling alone. Since my wife doesn't go jeeping with me, that's not a problem. I have made one round trip from Denver to Utah towing the Jeep. The steepest, longest upgrade was I70 heading east over Vail Pass, and the MH maintained 40 mph+ over that pass; 45 mph+ heading up to the Eisenhower/Johnson Tunnels. I downshift for the downgrades and had no problem keeping the speeds down without needing to ride the brakes. I do use a supplemental braking system.
