Connects to an ODBII connector. Thus connector is typically located under the dash near the steering column. Not infrequently hard to find. May have a cover over it helping to make it hard to identify.

From sitting in the driver's seat, facing the steering wheel . . .

Look to the left of the steering column and just under the lower part of the dash, next to the sidewall . . . the connection is in a little compartment. You'll need to open the little cover.

Right by the lever that you use to open the hood, the cover remains open. I love mine so far I only use the instant mileage and water temp. I have no taken the time to set up the rest of the bells and whistles...

Does anyone know if the Scan Gauge gives Transmission readings on a 2013?

No, only engine temperature, not transmission temperature.
