I took my 2016 Itasca Navion (2015 3500 chassis) in to my local MB dealer for the rear wheel speed sensors recall this week and since the chassis is seven years old I asked them to test the battery. The repair order said it was "good", no problem. I've had no issues with it but thought after seven years, I'd have it tested. When parked at home I keep the battery on a Deltran battery tender. I hope I haven't jinxed things since I've mentioned this.

I'm taking my 2015 in next month for the same recall ans a check engine light.
I was going to have them check the battery also.
Will see what they say.
Battery always on a Ctek battery tender.

I still have the original battery in my 2007 Mercedes. Still starts the car just fine. The AGM starting and house batteries in my motorhome are 14 yrs old . They never sit on a charger unless the motorhome is in use are disconnected when the motorhome is in storage or not used for more than a week.

I use a Stanley FatMax BC8S to keep the chassis battery charged/maintained. The chassis was built in NOV17, so the battery is probably at, or close to, 5 years old, and never tested, but starts the engine every time.
Joining the battery jinxed crew......

My dealer charged me $29 to check the battery, since it requires access under the driver floor. The service advisor told me in advance and I was ok with that.
