Should I avoid pre 2019 Sprinter chassis coaches?

We're doing research in order to purchase a class C/B+ and have noticed that there's a new Sprinter chassis starting with model year 2020 coaches.

What are the differences between the old and new and should it be a deal breaker?

Of course, we'd love the bells and whistles of the new chassis, but are there other chassis related things that should steer us away from a 2019 to a 2020? (Yep, that pun was intended)

The NCV3 chassis (pre-2019) is the better chassis for fewer NHTSA recalls. The VS30 (2019+) has had it's share of problems, same source, NHTSA. My NCV3 chassis has had a total of 3 recalls, and one didn't require corrective action. The other two were minor.
Now, the NCV3 is a very minimally equipped chassis which is why Winnebago chose it (stripped down price), and what MB built into it (the basics). The VS30 chassis that Winnebago upgraded to, has all the bells and whistles you would want, but with more recalls. As for overall performance, either is fine, not much difference in chassis specs.

My 2021.5 Pleasure Way on a 2020 MB chassis has had a few recalls.

1) check the torque on the bolts on the front doors (mine were fine)
2) replace two keys with new ones (now I have five good key fobs)
3) check wiring for passenger seat (mine was fine)

MB replaced the back door MB emblem under warranty as it had a flaw (ghosting in the black color).

Otherwise, no issues with the DEF or any of the emission system. I'm at 14 months of ownership and 9,400 miles on the odometer.

Safe travels,
Mark

We feel the ride is improved some. The 2019+ has a different rear leaf spring pack compared to my old 2009 chassis.
