Depends on how tired you are. Very tired, probably. I've slept in my Navion with the generator and A/C running, after a long day driving. The generators are usually located under the sleeping area in B vans and small Cs, which doesn't help, but there aren't a lot of options for where to put them.
There aren't too many B vans that have a "dry bath" with a separate shower/sink/toilet, which may or may not be an issue for you.
However, coming from a larger coach, it might be an issue?
Have a look at the Coach House Arriva, if you can find one used.
It has a dry bath at the rear of the van.

Technically, that's a small Class C, because it's a motorhome coach (box) added to a cutaway cab chassis. A Class B motorhome is entirely built into an existing and intact full van body and chassis.
Nice rig, though, either way.

Yes you can sleep in a sprinter with the generator running, though I don't know why you would need it running at night. Most manufacturers use the Onan ultra quite generators and they are actually pretty quiet and well dampened.

Here's another C, we have just started looking at these to downsize / right size from our truck & travel trailer and have settled on a Leisure Travel van.

Leisures (LTV) are nice rigs. We had a down payment on a new one with the Sprinter body in 2020, but ended up cancelling it. We are both tall and the interior room in general was not there so we gravitated back to the larger C’s (E450). The workmanship on the LTVs is solid, they have a loyal following, and get top dollar for them so many people really like them. I just think there are better options for the money, at least for our particular use case. YMMV.

You can always check off all the boxes with a b plus van as well. Our Qwest has a dry bath and the generator is at the front, away from the sleeping area. The generator is propane and not too loud. good luck

downsize
I went from a Monaco Windsor 36 to a Winnebago via. no small change but we enjoy the via , large tanks great driving. The onan diesel genset is noisy. We use the windows on the cracked but looked position and the bathroom vent fan we stay cool enough for travel. The via is a small class a on a sprinter chassis,

That small generator is air cooled. Part of why it is noisy.

Another vote for LTV, we love ours! They can be a bit spendy, but they hold their value well which seems rare in the RV world. Make sure there is a MB service center near you if you get a sprinter based RV, it would be a hassle driving a long way for any service I would think. We are lucky and have one only 10 miles away.
Generators are a bit noisy, but we sleep fine with it - all depends on your tolerance. If you are handy, the inverters/batteries can be upgraded to run the a/c at night and charge during the day. Most until the last several years won’t do this from the factory, and even now it’s not real common to have that much battery “stock”. We did an upgrade because we don’t want to disturb others at night with the generator.
