Sprinter leveling system

We have a 2017 Thor Citation 24SS. We've made an appointment with HWH to have their system installed in July. They've informed me that my exhaust (tail pipe) needs to be relocated from behind my rear wheels prior to arrival because of the mounting locations of their system.
Has anyone else experienced this and what mods did you do and how?
Thanks!

Take a hint from Winnebago View/Navion models which exit the exhaust out the passenger side ahead of the rear wheels. I would think a muffler shop could help your with the re-routing you need.

What does the HWH system weight and what will it do to your OCCC?

If I recall correctly, the system weighs about 200 pounds. Really knocks down the OCCC rating, but nice to have.

What's the OCCC on the Thor? My Prism is 1656# but I am not willing to lose 200lbs just to auto level. It just isn't that big a deal to me. I suspect the Thor is under 1000 lbs OCCC to start with.

If I was the owner, I would have it weighed loaded out and see if I had a spare 200 lbs.

We have a 2013 Thor Citation 24SR on a Sprinter chassis. Found that the system you want to install is a little overkill for our size of MH... so we went with the Equalizer Stabilization System... keeps the MH from the side to side wobble and is less expensive!

Thanks. We made the exhaust move last week, no issues.

Not certain, but we discussed the options and are willing to sacrifice the weight.

Went with the Bigfoot system for our Navion 24D. No chassis mods and only 180 lbs total. Definitely worth it IMO

I'm thinking of going with BigFoot also - is this something you can install yourself, or would I need to find a shop to do it?

Anyone have experience with this brand? Is there a preferred brand for a View (2016)?

you can install yourself, but a bigger job for sure. I had a shop about an hour away so opted for that. I have had it on for a year now and no complaints. Works much better the the Lippert we had on the old diesel pusher

I didn't have to modify my tailpipe when I had Equalizer Systems Smart Levelers, https://equalizersystems.com/product...inter-chassis/, installed this past July and love them. They also installed the Sumo springs black bump stop replacements and Snap Pads. Equalizer is located in Elkhart, In. I called and scheduled an installation appointment and made a great trip out of it from SC. I rented a car during our stay at the Elkhart KOA, and we dropped off our 2014 Unity Sprinter at 7am and picked it up at about 2:30 pm. They gave us a quick tutorial and setup the App and bluetooth connection on my phone and off we went. I love having automatic Levelers. I won't own another motorhome without them. I will definitely go to Equalizer again for Leveler installation, it was so easy! Fortunately, Leisure Travel Van now offers the Equalizer Systems automatic Levelers as an option, so if I ever get a new Unity I'll order them as a factory option.
