Talking Thor Chateau thru Zion Tunnel

my 2014 chateau 24SA is listed at 10'10"high, and 90" (7'6") wide. Zion tunnel requires pass ($15) at 7'10", and 11'4"tall. Sounds good except I am assuming that all the routine stuff on top counts (A/C, vent covers etc) in their listing. It is physically difficult for me to actually measure. Any experiences? tunnel pass may take time that we may not have at peak summer (July 9).Thanks (wife refuses to allow me on ladder!)

Ask someone to help you, you really need to measure it. I added 6" to the height cuz you never know if the paved the road and never changed the sign.

We went through the tunnel last year in our 07 42' Allegro bus. The tunnel is 13' 1" in the middle and we are 12' 10" at the top of our air conditioners. For $15 you get two trips through within a week. We didn't come back that way, but it was worth it. They stop you before the tunnel and wait until all of the cars are clear (it's a little over a mile long) then let you through. You feel like you need to duck, but it's fine. Dark in there, but they have a couple of side tunnels cut into it for a little light. We were on our way to Bryce, so it did save us quite a few miles. Part of the adventure
