View 24M tv replacement

I would appreciate any help in replacing the broken front tv in my 2014 view m. Is there a possibility of using a more affordable and better 24" Samsung or equivalent. Any wiring mods needed? Thank you.

On my last RV I went to Best Buy and bought their house brand and it worked great for 8 years then I sold the RV. I bought the same TV for a bedroom and it's still working well.
Good luck.

You can put anything you want in there as long as the mounting screws line up with the TV mount. All the other connections are the same as all other TVs.

After researching the issue:
1. The new tv must have a 12 volt connection.
2. Most all manufactures have discontinued the 12V. Some tv's come with a 19v plug. Not recommended at all.
3. I only found Jenson still have the 12v (not acceptable).
My solution:
Two Samsung 24" smart tv's. Hooked up to 110v only but that's OK for me.

I'm not familiar with where your TV is mounted. You don't have a cabinet behind it with a 120v plug? My 12V main TV has a 120V-12V adapter. When I had a cabling problem with the bedroom TV, I just added a 120V to 12V adapter for that TV.

A small DC -> AC inverter will drive a LED TV and should cost well under $50.

12v hdtv

A couple of years ago we replaced our low resolution 120V 26" Jensen 720p LCD SDTV with a 12V 32" Jensen 1080p LED HDTV from a mechanic at an RV dealer that was a "take off" off a brand new larger RV. It uses much less power being both LED vs. LCD and 12V vs. 120V (which requires an inverter when not connected to shore power).

Now there are much cheaper 12V options available like this one https://www.amazon.com/SuperSonic-10.../dp/B0066AE4M8

There's no downside with installing a 12V HDTV... and it is MUCH more energy efficient + lower heat generating than running a 120V HDTV and inverter.

Since we boondock we rarely have OTA ("Over The Air")antenna or CTV (Cable TV) so we use our HDTV to watch movies we've transferred to our iPad Air 2 from our TiVo... or share the awesome pictures we took on that day's adventures with our iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, and Canon 20D digital SLR. Amazing how much better these pictures look on an HDTV. Literally eye opening!
