Wyoming September winterization

We will take 2014 Sprinter/thor/w/slideout to jackson for last 2 weeks. No heating in tanks, and will be driving it around for photography. What to do at what outside temperature?

What do you mean 'no heating in tanks"?

no heat in tanks

I do not have any heating element inside or outside of the black, gray, or water tanks for below freezing weather as some sprinters have (Winnebego's etc.)

We have a 2017 Thor Sprinter Four Winds 24HL and each of the tanks are located largely inside. Essentially they are heated if the furnace is on. I would check your tank location.

Check the location of your water lines. Ours are inside, again heated if the furnace is on.

The temperature in WY in some areas will be getting below freezing, but the daily temperature will also probably well into the 60's or even higher. Check your location on Wikipedia, they may have a climate chart.

If your tanks are not heated in any way, then I would start to winterize when the nigh temperature are in the 20's with day temperatures are in the low 40's.

Know how to winterize the coach and keep enough rv antifreeze on hand.

Keep an eye on the temperatures.

Good Luck!

Even if temps drop into the mid/upper 20's, no way will holding tanks freeze in just a few hours of sub-freezing temps. I expect most of your water lines are inside - just keep cabinet doors open at night when the heater is on - warm days solve cold nights. ST
