2015 Palazzo 33.2 cab air not working

Just got my 2015 33.2 palazzo yesterday and the cab air is just blowing air not cold air. I just put the fan on high and the breeze helped some. It is not working and was wondering if anyone has had this issue and what they did to fix it. Thanks

Set thermostat fan to Au and then to Cool. Lower temp to something that will turn on a/c. To see what temp the thermostat sees turn the thermostat to Off and press + or -, this causes the temp to display.

It takes 50 amp service to make both a/c to work at same time, 30 amp for just one. On generator both a/c will work.

Our a/c are finicky and do weird things. Sometimes they do not seem to work but if I wait they start. Still haven't figured out if they work as designed or not.

Here is a link to the thermostat manual:

If you are talking about the air in the dash, that would need to be checked out by a Freightliner dealer.

It is the cab air that is not working. The air on the dash. Thanks for the reply.

Freight liner says they just supply the compressor and that Thor does the rest.

I had a similar problem, check to see if the vaccum is working opening and closing the right doors. my hose had come off the pump, push on and got air, you can hear the pump work when you first turn on the key.

Call THOR get communication going BEFORE you take it in for service.

Don't assume dealership/repair facility calls Thor. Call them yourself. Keep notes of any and ALL conversations

2015 Palazzo 33.2 cab air not working

Wolfcreek,

What some folks are telling you is that we all run our house air sometimes while running down the road. You are supposed to "exercise" your generator periodically so I do it running down the road keeping cool. Your dash A/C will not keep you cool if it is hot.

PS welcome to the family.

Thank you for your reply. I take it dash air just won't do the job in
a motorhome with all the open space.

I bring the front shades down (visor mode), use magne shades on the side windows and circulate the air via the two fans while driving... It keeps the temp down considerably. The front AC is only good for the 2 seats up front... but on hot days, forget about it. Just turn the genny and AC on.
