2018 Palazzo 33.2 inverter/charger cabinet fan

Prior owner removed the box fan and snap disc fan control from the inverter/charger cabinet. I would like to install a new fan and snap disc fan control.

There are two openings (one above the other) in the cabinet wall that faces the rear of the coach where the fan could be mounted. There is some evidence that the original fan might have been mounted in the upper opening in which case I would assume it was mounted as an exhaust fan moving hot air out of the cabinet.

-- Can anyone verify on their Palazzo...
1) Which opening the fan should be mounted and which direction it is blowing (in or out of the cabinet)?

2) Snap disc fan control can be purchased with different temperature ratings (some even adjustable). Are there any identifying marks/numbers on you could provide that would give me a clue what the correct temperature rating should be?

Thanks

In my 2014 33.2 the Exhaust fan is mounted on the upper opening and a screened inlet is on the lower opening for air intake.

Snap control shows: SELCO CA100

That was a replacement for the original fan control that failed on my 33.2 the first year we owned it.

Thanks 'appsol'. This helps a lot.

I found several sources for the snap disc - including Amazon. For anyone else with questions about the snap disc -- here are the specs.

Snap control: SELCO CA100
Series: 1/2" Disc
Type: Automatic Reset
Function: Close On Rise (Normally Open)
Open Temperature: 70°F ± 11°F
Close Temperature: 100°F ± 7°F

Mine is on top also. However, beware, that fan can be loud and obnoxious at night when you are in the mountains/desert and there is no other sound. I find the temp sensor on mine kicks on anytime it is over about 80 deg outside....which can be quite often! Sometimes I have to go unhook it at night so we don't hear the hum. Get a quiet fan and an adjustable temp sensor is my advice

Ed, after we are at set up at our campsite for a while, and the fan just doesn't want to turn off, I open the bay door and hold an ice cube against the sensor and it cools it down and shuts off. then , it doesn't come on again the rest of the evening.

Yep, I have used the ice cube trick before several times. I have also had it come back on in the hot desert evenings and then it is noisy, I am tired, I am in bed, and I wish it wasn't there!
