I also wondered exactly what you did... Didn't like the bright white and wasn't sure about other colors and amount of light.... Steve at M4 product today showed me pictures and explained each ( I chose the light most like the current light). Do yourself a big favor... Call or email him.. I was lost before the day started... now I'm found

I've done a number of LED replacements using M4 products. Good outfit, and good prices for quality products.

They are old style as 5050 has taken over and better priced.

These lights ARE as bright as a 1141 and in fact slightly brighter. A 1141 typically puts out 259 lumens and these are putting out close to 300. Read the reviews on Amazon and I think you will find with 86 - 4 and 5 star reviews and only 2 reviews that are less stars these things are really great. I think you should try one before the doubting but I would be willing to put my money where my mouth is so if you send me a PM I will order one and have it sent to you for an honest review and if I am right you can send me the money back and if not just send me the bulb.

Gold Stars 92111805 LED Replacement Bulb 921 Base 250 LUM 12 or 24v Natural White
http://amzn.com/B00FSG8224
I've bought and installed many different led lights including flat 48's, flat 36's, round 24's, and round 12,s and by far these gold stars are the best. They have a more natural yellow light and the base fits tight and does not need to be jimmied with to light. I wish I didn't get the others now and will try to return them. Too blue a light!

One of the problems with LED lightings is the best deals are on the web, But alas, many of them arrive in "No-Name" Boxes and unless you keep a copy of your digital receipt you are going to be hard pressed to remember what to buy or not to buy. My first attempt at LED lighting was such a purchase. The lamps which were advertised as being good and bright white were dim, blue and short lived as it turns out.
I also got one at, I think, Pep Boys I was very impressed with.. But never found it in 1156, (This was a 1157)
I found some "Eco Led" (That is the brand) at an RV dealer, 19 bucks a pop more or less but the Cool White (CW) ones are a very good match for a 1141 Bit Whiter in fact Seem to be good quality lamps. I have (I think) 3 of them just now and will be getting more unless I find one as good for less.

I created a folder in my Outlook inbox for Purchases and move all purchase & shipping confirmations into the folder for that very purpose. Six months or a year later when I want to repurchase an item I know where to look for the original.

Me too. It's easy to find what you bought years later.

Ditto in GMail only there called labels. I even have sub labels of my order confirmations label for RV, Auto, PC, and Solar.
