Check wet bay flooring
Anyone have any issues w wetbay floor warping? Out of the blue I looked outside underneath fresh water tank and saw it sagging....further investigation noticed wood rotted by bay door. Pictures don’t do justice but you all get point.
Calling Thor to see if they can do anything....

Let us know what Thor says. I haven't noticed but you can bet I will check next time I am out there in the RV. Thanks for the heads up.

Yes, I had same problem both in water tank an main storage compartments. Thor replaced floor panels at their service center and also welded in additional supports. The floor panels have a joint now as it is not possible to install full panels with assembled RV. I had to pay for this repair as my RV was long out of warranty, I have 2015 33.2.

wet bay floor
I had the same issue and fortunately I just made it under warranty. Make sure you check the seals on both the wet bay door and the right side door that allows access to the water tank. I had a lot of water coming in those seals.

Yes please post pics as this sounds like a area that needs some serious attention.
Thanks

I am curious as to how they welded extra “support” and where did they do this? Did they just go across or did the go corner to corner....what gauge steel?
Pictures would be great.

water Leak?
Check to see if you have a leak uner the fresh water drain pipe connection at the tank or any other leaking connections that may have a slow leak causing the wood to deteriorate over time.

wet bay floor
Yes, do check the fitting for the drain coming out of the fresh water tank. Mine started leaking and had to be re glued.

Bright spot is that it wasn't the black tank.

I had the same problem in my large storage area. During one weekend I decided to take everything out and re-arrange everything and to my shock, the driver side of the large storage was not even attached to the coach chassis anymore and the wood underneath the vinyl was completely rotted. It was also warped into a bowl. The board in the large bay was only an 8th inch thick. I called Thor and sent pictures but they said I was out of warranty and would not help fix it. I even asked to go half way...no go. Anyway I got a guy here near Greensboro NC. Guys name is Chris from Fatheree and Son's RV repair. No I did not spell that incorrectly (fatheree). This guy is the best I've ever seen. He came to my house and took only 2 days to fix (roughly 8 hrs each day). He completely removed the floor of the large storage bay, put 1/2 inch weather proof plywood back in, replaced with all new vinyl, fully caulked, welded to steel braces beneath the storage bay and sprayed the underside with under coating. I think this is how Thor should have done this in the first place. I paid about $700 but this will NEVER need fixing again. I think it would hold 1000lbs now.
On a side note, I just had this guy back again. The bedroom floor on the driver side directly beside the bed was completely rotten with black mold. I discovered while making up the bed, the floor was soft. Chris came in and replaced the whole driver side floor in the bedroom and put the vinyl back down. He did it in one day while I was at work and was finished before I got home. I can't even figure out how he got the vinyl back on so perfectly. Paid about $400 for this job. Well worth the $$. Unbelievable work!
