DEF in line fuse

Just got back from a great trip. Turned to get on I-95 and my palazzo shut off. No notice. Tried to start. The motor would turn over but nothing. Looked down and the DEF gauge said empty. I knew that was wrong I had just filled up. Call AAA they did not know what DEF was and said they only brought out gas or they would tow it. Called freightliner they sent a tow truck and towed me to the repair shop in Ga. After about an hour they walked out to it said it would not start. Replaced a inline fuse in the battery compartment and it started right up.they also put it on the computer and could find nothing wrong. Drove home.

Workingrver... did they show you where the fuse is located? Glad FL worked it out for you.

Sounds like a spare fuse we should all be carrying. If you can point out which fuse it was that would be appreciated.

Freightliner did not point out the fuse. They did say there are several inline fuses that control several things. I did look at my fuse box inside and nothing . The only inline fuse that I saw that looked like it had been touched was closest to the front of the coach. I do carry spare fuses but if you do not know where to look it is hard.

Anyone have a complete list of fuses, what they control and where they are located? This would be a great reference item for us all. I've read several posts where a simple fuse or circuit breaker was all that was wrong. Can't check them if we don't know where to look.

Ya that would be nice if they had a comprehensive list of the fuse locations as we had a gene no start problem and can not trace down where a possible fuse is located that could control the gene start switch. nothing happens while using either the dash switch or the switch on the gene. Pulled out the panel on the gene and found 3 fuses none were blown and have power to them no switch activation at either switch. Cant find a fuse anywhere else for the gene?
