Do the Palazzo rooftop AC units have a time delay

I just installed a Progressive EMS on my 2015 Palazzo 33.3

The last step of the install says there is a factory installed jumper on the circuit board, which will give a 15 second factory delay setting before reconnecting.

I presume this is a delay so if the EMS senses there is a shore power problem and shuts down the power, that it waits 15 seconds before it tries to reconnect the shore power.

There is another time delay option for the Progressive EMS unit.

I can remove the factory installed circuit board jumper and it will give me a 2 min 15 second time delay before the EMS reconnects to the shore power.
This would give the Freon in the the AC rooftop compressors time to equalize before the EMS tries to reconnect the shore power. (equalization of the Freon pressures is best for the AC units)

But if the rooftop AC's have built in time delay circuitry, I do not need to remove the jumper on the Progressive EMS.

So after being so long winded (sorry), does anyone know if the AC units have a built in restart time delay ?

Thanks,

Bob

I believe that all rooftop a/c's have a time delay built in to the thermostat.
I have my EMS set to the standard 15sec. The 2min delay just is too long really.

For the facts on the a/c you should consult the a/c owners manual and/or the thermostat.

Bob, based on first hand experience, my AC units do have a delay. Which gave me a scare once when I thought I had burned up an AC unit and it wouldn't start.
