Yes, while I was driving trough Indiana, the wind was so bad the slide toppers has banging against the billowing arm. I thought something was getting ready to fly off the side of the Palazzo. That is not a good thing.

My ride heading east from Elkhart was not much better and got blown about pretty bad in some places. It is the gusts. I have had plenty of bad cross winds coming across I-40 but never as bad as this. I also am thinking of investing in a steering damper!

Gingerela,
There is a great video posted on another Palazzo forum on inflating your coach tires using the onboard compressor. Palazzo issues and hopefully fixes.

Thank you, Bob! I see it now. My 36.1 is in the shop, but as soon as I get her back, I am going to look under the hood! I really appreciate the photos. Thanks again.
I'll look for those videos, too.

Blues... Congrats and I gotta hand it to you, you stuck it out...I'm not sure I could do the same...
I hear you guys on the drive to Elkhart.... Actually went through a blizzard in OH, thank god 30minutes the sun came out.... And that wind!!!! I had to run the generator and hooked up an electric heater up front... Made a make shift curtain (tucked over the overhead bunk).... This was a life saver and made a huge difference in temp between the front and back room.

just got home from Elkhart, definitely a satisfied customer... good folks at the service center. Fixed everything on our list and then some. If you can, for major items I would just skip the dealer altogether, just bite the bullet and make the trip to Elkhart. They had the coach for 4 days. Two of the days they paid for a hotel since they kept it in the garage while they work on the slides. The other days I just stayed in the Palazzo... I actually prefered staying in the MH.
They upgraded the slide motors and converted to steel shafts. As far as holding the button... hold it in till the motors shut off (this will sync the two motors). On the drop down bunk they put a new module in that uses a brake so that motor creep is lessened while trying to put the pins in for travel lock... before, putting the pins in were a two man operation since it drops a bit while trying putting the pins in. A lot of little stuff that was all fixed with new door lock hardware, paint, missing screws, new extensions on and on... overall, the service guys are aimed to please...they also put their vendors through the ringer and have them address certain issues.
Here's a pic 5:00am ready to go home...

Love the Palazzo/Jeep combo. The Jeep needs to be in front in that weather.

I'm here now. Can't help you next week. But get here early on Sunday. I was surprised at how crowded it was at 6PM when I arrived. I got the last open spot, although some people were taking up two spaces with cars and dollys. I suppose I could have asked them to move a car.

I was in Gaffney on 26 March for service. They took my coach at 8 AM and had it back by 3:30 PM (1530 ) which included my 24 month service, 4 corner weight, 150 hour generator service, and changed one of my air bags. They did a great job!
