Fix Fogged Windows in a Palazzo?

We have a 2016 Palazzo 35.1 and several of the double paned windows are fogged lightly. I have found several kits to fix fogged RV windows but they all specify 3/8" thickness in the gasket material. My Palazzo windows all appear to be 1/4" gap between the panes. I can buy 1/4" gasket material from several suppliers but wanted to know if any of youu have done this to your Palazzo, and if so did you use the 1/4" material?

Regards,

Dave

I haven't done it myself, but for supplies and other info, look up www.crlaurence.com
I hope this helps. There are a couple videos on youtube that I have watched that explain the process. It doesn't seem too difficult to do, but maybe time consuming. I think it may be easiest to do with 2 people.

Thanks Bob, I think I have them in a list of 3 potential suppliers. IIRC they have the best prices on a 66' long roll of the gasket material. I'm trying to ascertain if I need to order the 1/4" thick material, as I don't want to remove the windows all by myself and am hoping to enlist my brother's help when I join him at his AZ place this spring. I think I need to have a second person helping to remove the large passenger's windows.

I have a 2018 Palazzo 33.2 with a fogged driver’s window. Curious what you found to be the proper gasket thickness and which source you ended using?

Appreciate your response.

I Called in the Experts

After reassessing the size and wieght of the large window on the passenger side I decided to call New ViewGlass in Riverside/Jurupa. They come to you but as it happens I store my RV at McBrides in Chino, only about 11 miles from New View. They fixed the two fogged panes in the window and reinstalled it for $225 per pane or $450 total. From what I can tell I would have paid at least $150-$200 for supplies to try to do it myself. Anyway James and Chris were polite. efficient, and quickly removed the window set and about 10 days later reinstalled it. I can't recommend them more, they did a great job at what I consider to be a great price!
