So StevieD, am I to understand you are saying if you don't complain Thor takes care of you. If you DO complain Thor punishes you? Interesting theory. If you look at the actions of abusive parents they act the same way.......... hmmmm.
Owners shouldn't be punished for talking about the problems of their MH. WE didn't build it!!
By the way, we have had 4 slide failures! I think we earned the right to be upset!

Our dinette TV was replaced too during one of our slide repairs. It wouldn't turn on.
Dinette TV works now. Outside TV wasn't connected properly. Rick fixed that. It works now.

We have had many things repaired. We have not had a problem with slide. I just thought it is interesting to me why folks complain when there is a legal system available to take care of the serious problems. I just can't see totally trashing THOR on blogs and drive your own investment down in value. I do not have that kind of money. This is our second THOR product on 4 years and not sure I wouldn't buy another. They have taken care of us well. So you make the call. Does it pay just to complain to Thor and not on blogs?

Another Thor Bashing Thread
No matter the question people who follow the Palazzo threads turn it into a bashing thread. The OP had a simple question, who did NOT have slide issues. This continued bashing of Thor has driven me away from iRV2!
Thanks to all!

Sorry, don't shoot the messenger!
Our Palazzo has problems, not bashing Thor, just stating fact. If Thor doesn't want people discussing their build quality than Thor needs to upgrade their build quality. The product speaks for itself. "Resale Values" are affected by the repair history of a product. Don't blame the owners for that. The MH industry isn't deaf or blind.

My 2003 Newmar, I have had a year in November, has two slide out, we make at least one trip a month to dump the septic, the slide out didn't go all the way out one time. Put it back and out then it worked fine. Hope it is not the start of a problem.

We have a 2014 Thor Palazzo 33.3 and have had no issues with the big or small slide. Big slide has been cycled about 120 times, so far. As for anything big that needed a dealer to repair, nothing to date. The coach has operated fine.

Hey, I'm staying! [for now!]
Just did a long trip of over 3 months and 1 week. 10100.0 miles. Currently have over 16000.0 miles on coach. My trip started out with a appointment at Thor service center for my list of problems to be taken care of. They fixed everything and I was satisfied. Continued onward for my trip and towards the end I ended up at Thor Goshen rally. There I had a few more problems that their reps corrected promptly. Though even after replacing the water pump there, you still can hear it cycle on and off. Will find the pressure loss eventually.
So far I have not had any slide problems. But to be honest I still hold my breath when opening and retracting them. Reps at the goshen rally indicated that I have the latest configuation.....ie 500:1 motors and steel shafts. But I only have two tracks currently. I spray the gear boxes with the required CRC and the tracks with dry lube. Also I constantly look underneath for even wear/ tracking on the plates for the bottom rollers.
I vote with Karen on the Newmar brand coach and will not entertain a replacement coach with the Schwintek mechanisms. But I am not ready to upgrade or slide [no pun intended] to the side with a new coach. But attending with Thor diesel club the up coming RV show in Tampa. Where now I consider myself a much more educated coach owner to ask the right questions. We'll see what deals are presented.....I am one for a good deal to be honest!
I also stand by the reference [patch-y]to me in the other thread being a satisfied Palazzo owner. 1 out of the 9.
I brought this up before, try owning a large boat [break out another thousand] and experience the frustration to quality. The problems corrected and the future ones to arise in this coach are "pickyhoon"! With the exception to a slide problem.
Thanks for allowing me to share my 2 cents!
Don
