Jensen Head Unit / Rear View Camera

On our 2015 33.3, is there a way to turn "ON" the rear view camera all the time when traveling? I'd prefer to watch "ToDo" most of the time...would be nice to also have side cameras come on still with blinker.

I saw this mentioned in the Q&A forum from 2013, but can't find any information recently about this.

Maybe the Jensen on your unit is different, but on our 2014 I simply hit the CAM button and it shows the rear camera. The side cameras activate when turning then it goes back to the rear camera. I use it to monitor the Toad and have even used it to watch the dogs in a pen at some places we have parked.

Boy, I hope you are correct. That would be great. I'm away from the MH this weekend. I'll check it as soon as we get home on Sunday.

Once again, I have learned far more from asking you all questions than trying to read all of the obscure manuals. ha. Sorry--I should have researched this some more.

My rear camera CAN be turned on. In the case of my 2015 model, it is a touch screen button, but it is easy to use. The rear image stays on all the time, unless the blinker is engaged when the side camera view pops up.

Sorry to bother you all with the dumb questions.

There are no dumb questions . I am amazed at how some learn faster than I do. We all also have different giftings. I also have to have interest in something to learn.

Stevie, I hear 'ya. I like complicated things but pretty much hate most digital 'stuff' these days. Guess I'm a mechanical geek still firmly planted in the analog (real) world. I can really get off on working on a car or even the Palazzo, as long as it is a mechanical problem.

My issue with most digital things is they do not seem intuitive, at least to me. Whatever happened to switches, knobs and buttons? I know the problem is probably mine as my three "twenty-something" daughters quickly adapt to almost any electronic gizmo they pick up. ha.
