Levelers
My levelers seem to be acting abnormally. When I retract them either in automatic or manual the right front leveler extends to the maximum and makes a high pitch noise before retracting. It also stresses the coach with one leveler extended to the maximum and the others in some stage of being retracted. I will visit Elkhart in two weeks for warranty work and want to get this fixed. So the question, is this leveler behavior common to most Palazzos? Thanks

Out of curiosity did you try a re-calibration of the system.

No. How do you do it? It seems that the calibration is to set the level set point to horizontal and that seems to be ok.

After thinking about it I believe you are right it most likely doesn't have anything to do with retracting. It was just a thought.

Where do I look for the hydraulic oil tank? And to the original question, should my levelers be operating like they are?

The hydraulics along with the reservoir tank is located under the hood on the passenger side. Of course, check the fluid level with the jacks fully retracted. I have not experienced the problem you are. One suggestion, try doing a manual leveling, then the auto retract all - see if the symptoms change.

Thanks to all. I will do a check on the hydraulic fluid level and try manually extending the levelers to see if it helps. I feel better armed to talk with Thor now.
