Need to replace the convection oven in my Palazzo

My Whirlpool convection Microwave oven is still not working like it is supposed to. The convection oven part of it never gets hot enough and it takes a VERY Long time to heat up. 325 degrees is the hottest it gets.

For those of you who have replaced theirs, what did you end up installing ?

I have a Sharp brand at home that I really like. But it is about 15 yrs old and it is no longer made. They have a similar model that I will look at soon. It is about $500.

So if anyone has made a switch to a diff convection/microwave oven, what did you get & do you like it ?

I replaced the micro in my coach with a like brand, Sharp 1874t over the range microwave/convection. 850 watts. Don't know if this would fit in the space of your old Whirlpool, but you can check out the spec sheet on-line. Oven works perfectly.

That is one of the models I was looking at.
Is it easy to use ? Does the convection oven heat up to the correct temperature and does it get up to oven temp quickly ?

YES, to all three questions.

Easy to use as much as all new electronics—once you read the manual—and use it routinely.

The oven heats to the correct temperature, according to the read out on the display. I have not checked with a separate oven thermometer, but cooking always was completed in times expected.

Quick heating? I’ve got nothing to compare it with. Only used convection when on shore power. Took about 10 minutes or so to preheat to 400*, I think. Once cooking was done, fan ran for extended time for cool down, something that is typical.

Did anyone put the sharp in their palazzo? We’re having the same issue with the whirlpool.
