New member to iRV2 - Install steering stabilizer on a Palazzo?
I joined this group because I really enjoy the tips and lessons learned by other bloggers. This is my first class a coach, had a 31ft. Fifth wheel prior to the purchase of my dream rv, our Palazzo 33.3. Of coarse we have had some issues as do most new coaches have, I have completed most problems on my own due to I have a good technical understanding or DYI mentality. My first question would be, has anyone attempted to purchase and install steering stabilizer to a Palazzo. A handful without it.

Go to the Palazzo threads in the Thor owners forum for a wealth of information.
Most Palazzo owners report excellent handling but better with proper tire pressure. They are delivered with too much pressure so don't handle as well as with proper pressure.
One owner put on a steering stabilizer so you can read his results. Most are happy without. My only issue is with gusty crosswinds.

Welcome to the Palazzo family !!
We had our dealer install the "Steering Safety Plus" prior to taking delivery. There are u-tube videos that show how it works.
Proper alignment and the right tire air pressure makes a big difference as has been discussed on the Palazzo threads.

when I got my 33.3 it drove all over the highway with 120 lbs or air in all tire's then I lowered air to 92 lbs front and 103 back dulls and it's a lot better . next week I will be getting an alignment done and then it should be perfect

If you haven't had your rig weighed and the tire pressure adjusted accordingly do that first. If you can have a four corner weigh. After that and you are still having a steering issue have the alignment checked. If you are still having steering concerns a steering stabilizer might help.

Had our toe-in, alignment, weight, tire pressure set at 90f/95r at Gaffney.
Drives like a dream. One-handed.

Proper tire pressure based on your operating weight. Alignment checked/adjusted. These two things should make a big difference in handling. I did install a Safe T Plus steering stabilizer and I like that it provides a more positive feel to the steering wheel.
Welcome to the Palazzo family!
