No inverter Com message

I get this message on the control screen of the Magnum control and am unsure what happened.

I stored the motorhome for two days and activated the AGS. I went out to get ready to go on a trip and there is absolutely no power in the living quarters of the motorhome. When I check the status of the house battery it says that the battery is 2/3 charged. I plugged the motorhome into shore power but there is still no power.

I was able to start the engine of the motorhome but not the generator.

Does anyone know what happened and what I can do to fix the problem?

Thanks.

Per ME-RC manual pg31...

"No Inverter Comm - This fault message indicates that the remote is no longer receiving any communication data via the Magnum Network.
Remedy: Reset the remote by disconnecting the remote communica- tions cable from the inverter for 5 seconds and then reconnect (see figure 2-2). If the fault continues, check/replace the remote cable."

I would also prime the generator longer for it to start... you should check if your battery have enough distilled water for proper charging. How were you determining that 2/3 charge?

I had the exact same, called Magnum and they had me remove and disconnect the remote panel and plug it in the inverter directly with a different phone cable, no go. They said it was the remote. So I bought a remote, put it in, no go. Called Magnum again and they said it must be the control board in the inverter. Would be nice if you could borrow a remote from a friend to determine which one it is.
I ended up replacing the control board myself, about 2 hours. You must disconnect the shore power, disconnect the batteries and disconnect the phone cables from the inverter before you start removing panels on inverter. The instructions that came with control board are good...

I get the same message when the 12 volt cut off switch on the co-pilot side is accidentally hit. Don't know if your coach has the same switch to kill all 12 volt to the coach.

No inverter Com message

I got everything working. Here's what I think happened:

The water heater was set to electric which drained the battery very quickly.

I had the AGS voltage generator start set too low and the weak battery didn't have enough power to start the battery.

I removed the remote cable but this didn't work until the water heater was turned off the electric setting.

I had been looking at the panel lights that give the status of the holding tanks, battery etc via the little red lights.

So much to learn. Thanks for your help. I'll sleep much better tonight now. We are planning to head to the Dover Nascar race tomorrow morning with ten men from our family. Life is good.

Albeit I am replying to an old post, I have learned from Dawgs! Thanks. I can stop scratching me head now.
