No need to move the couch, on the earlier couch seat the back folds over raising the seat bottom (mine 2013) I opened the couch half way as folding out the bed and worked through the opening (tight) the 2nd one in installed in a newer 2014 coach, That couch opens by folding seat bottom over then I removed 2 screws holding the fabric cover, this provided access to mount the table to the floor.

Thanks again Rick. I'm itching to add a more convenient light switch as you did -- how did you locate the correct wire and thread it down to that new switch?

One other small issue for Thor to take care of and we are near perfect. Life is good.
I liked the granite top idea, but he went with wood to be able to install the "cup holder". We had trouble finding a ready made cup holder that wasn't so deep that it altered the closing of the table, so we found a Air Filter Removal Wrentch. It was the perfect size and deapth for a soda can or plastic cup and it lets the table fold down flat. Rick used a hole cutter/router tool to cut the hole out.
So, I guess you could say for us Life is good with a can of soda too!!

I used a 12 volt LED light and an RV single pole switch I ran the wires through the floor under the couch to the light in mud room by the steps.

Put an electrical hatch in the large curbside bay where the outlet is located. Drove me crazy to not be able to close the bay door because of an extension cord needing to be plugged in.

and yes.. the bay if filthy.

That's a great looking flap!

Wstrace (Billy) does that little access door go through the compartment door? Not sure from picture.
