Palazzo owner crossroads

We are in the Florida Keys staying at the Jolly Roger RV Park and just noticed that another Palazzo is staying here also. They are from SC but I haven't had a chance to meet them yet.

We met the couple today. They are from Hilton Head, SC and are not members of iRV2. They have A 33.2 and have not had any slide problems.

Spotted a Palazzo

Today we took the RV Driver Confidence Course offered at Lazy Days in Tampa, FL. While driving through the Lazy Days Campground spotted a Palazzo !! Anyone on this forum???

Lucky to say I passed the course without taking out anything !!

Seriously though, it was very worthwhile and we enjoyed taking the course very much. A big "Thank You" to Bob Bergeron !!

I hope the weather starts to warm up, we leave from SoCal on Feb 8th headed for Helen, GA. Going to take the 10 east and pick up the 20 in Texas to head into Atlanta, then North up to Helen.

We got here Tuesday. Scheduled to do the driving part on the 4th. We are in a 33.1 Folkstone exterior. Site 129. Could do without the rain but it's a heck of a lot better than Ohio. Hope to have my furnace looked at tomorrow. Let's get together. How long are you staying?

Would have loved to have met up with you guys but Wednesday was our last day in the Tampa area. We were not staying in the Lazy Days CG but we visited the CG several times. Sorry to have missed you. When I was driving, DH was the one that spotted your coach ! Lazy Days is quite a place. The CG spaces were terribly tight though. BTW -- Wade RV on-site does all sorts of upgrades. We are going to have him do dual roller shades for the front side (driver and passenger) windows to replace the accordion shades supplied by Thor. They also do custom floor mats for the driver/passenger floor area along with the entry steps. You can see the floor mats if you view the Palazzo on display in front of the main building (sales/service/cafeteria building). Thanks !

Our site was a bear to get into because of the parked cars. Site next to us had two vehicles. Looked around and now know what sites to request. Will definitely return. They charge based upon the length of the site. Included is a daily newspaper delivered to your site, cable, wifi, and breakfast & lunch are included.
We may run into each other again.

Sounds good.

Yes, we agree--- with no area provided in each campground site to park a 'toad' really made the roads narrow. Many vehicles were sticking out quite a bit.

We were aware of all the 'bennies' the CG includes which is definitely nice.
Seems like a nice place and nice people.

Out of curiosity, which sites did you feel would be a better choice?
