We looked at the Palazzos while we were there. All the Palazzo's, regardless of paint color, were outfitted with the same gray and white awning! If those awnings had been retracted, those units would have looked as ridiculous as ours. I can't imagine the Cinnamon Shore with a gray and white awning.

I also sat on the sofa in the 36.1 model. It was right off the assembly line, just like ours. The sofa had normal, cushy seats. Ours are hard like a rock. There is nothing 'cushy' about it. I called Thor. They are going to research to see if there have been any changes in their sofa orders. Definitely not the same thing we have in our unit. Ours is more like a stiff board of wood with some light batting with a vinyl overlay. We noted the VIN number from the show unit and gave it to Thor to check on the difference between our sofa and that one. No word back, but I'll keep you all posted.

Regarding the ugly awning, I'm not really sure how to handle that. The salesman isn't going to give a hoot. I'm not sure Thor is going to either. I may just have to spend the $250 to replace the vinyl and do it myself.
Our awning does not match the slide awning nor our paint color. We have the blue gray combo. Looks bad!

That's the same one that we have and it looks just awful. I'm not really sure what can be done about it.

I am going to call Carefree tomorrow and see what other options I have. I am also going to call Thor and ask them if I can have the job of the person who thought those awnings would match. I'm sure I could get a raise real quick doing that job.

How are you all liking your Dometic a/c units?

AC works fine. We usually only run one at a time depending on where we are in the coach.

I thought the same thing. Called the factory and begged them to make mine a solid color, but no such luck. They won't change that new design for anyone. I can't stand it either.

Like I posted earlier, I am going to apply for the job of the blind person at Thor who makes these less than stellar design choices.

We were not able to select our interior fabric colors although we were assured we would be. The color and patterns on the valance (Rhapsody) completely clash with both the design and color of the tiles on the wall over the stove which sits right next to it.

I can't help but wonder if anyone is paying attention. Doesn't seem like it.

The Dometic a/c unit in the rear is extremely loud, louder than the one in our Hurricane which we had dubbed 'the helicopter'. Even more annoying is the weak air flow (and yes, the tabs are closed). It barely trickles out.

One last question... Our LED ceiling lights make a high pitched sound for the first 30 to 40 seconds after the lights are turned on. It's similar to the sound of nails on a chalk board, just not as loud. Anyone else experience this?

I have heard of people blowing out the air ducks to increase air flow. We don't have a flow problem. Our rear ac is loud. I had it checked at the factory. Was told it was normal.

No noise from lights but yes AC's are noisy. I run the ac that is opposite my location. Daytime when we are up front I run the bedroom and at night I run the front ac. Close the vents near the running unit which will push air to opposite side which creates a more efficient loop. Also have my fans set where they go off if and when temperature is met.

LED lights? Is that something new? I thought mine are all just plain 12v lights. Do they all make noise or just one? There are some bulbs I have found that make a noise when they are getting ready to go bad.

On the A/C, with tabs closed air is going into the ducts and coming out all the outlets. If you want lots of cooling in the rear, open the tabs.

Did you put these LED lights yourself?, Ours came with halogens. If yours lights are hot to the touch, they are halogens. As for the high pitch sound, that usually means a voltage reading that is abnormal. Try swapping the bulb out with another to isolate the problem. The domed light cover just unscrews off about 1/4 turn....

Thanks Jack. This is amazing.
Boy if we had emails addresses for everyone we could develop our on mailings.
"Constant Contact" has a good program. It was free at one time. Don't know about now. I used it in my prior profession for communications.

seems that there are more 2013 owners are on the list, I wonder if the competitors have seen the value of the Palazzo concept and have pulled the 2014 shopper people away... I know Winnies have now drop down bedding... that we wanted but didnt have it at the time we were looking. Short diesel, residential appliance, lots of standard "luxury" features etc... competition is fierce out there.
