Does anyone know how it truly works? Electric heats the block, but how?

Its like having a toaster in the oil pan... just a heater element to keep the oil from thickening. Some plug types inserts in the oil filler tube and reaches the oil pan to warm the oil.

It warms the coolant to make for easier starting. Not necessary above freezing temps.

So I wanted to tell everyone about my warranty List that need's to be fixed.
There is nothing major just all small stuff, here we go

thermo disc for inverter fan

exhaust brake " Led " light for switch

driver side arm rest

bedroom door has a gap needs adjusting

auto level seems off a bit not much just need's to be tweeked

microwave had power and now no power

bathroom door rub's

adjust slide to come in further , they work fine but there's about a 1 inch gap that you see the black weather seal

appointment set for Oct, 22

SO there you go nothing crazy just a lot of small thing's that are pretty easy fixes

The right armrest, pilot's chair, is tilted higher than the left. Is anyone else's the same way? Is it adjustable?

Ours is just the opposite. The Co-pilot's right arm rest goes lower the the left side. The driver's left arm rest goes lower than the right side of the driver seat. I know of no adjustment and Thor says that there is nothing wrong with the arm rests.

The auto level is an owner adjustable item. Have them show you how to do it. Mine was fine after adjustment during PDI but 9 months later I made a slight adjustment.

Is there a procedure for the adjustment? I have a problem with auto retract. The front levelers raise up to their limit and make high pitched noise. If there is an adjustment for that I would like to know.

If you have the Lippert system to my knowledge there is no adjustment for the up limit. The full retract position uses a pressure switch.

I had a class on adjusting the leveling system.
Techs also adjusted my slide. Had the same issue.
The led light might be a Freightliner deal.
Rest of the list looks normal.

Have fun!

The procedure for adjusting the auto leveler is in the Lippert document for the leveling system. I followed the directions and it worked as stated.

Thank's guy's.

I posted this because some people read bad thing's and think every Thor unit is bad , They just build a lot so you have a higher % of thing's wrong .
I was also a little worried before buying, from the stuff I have read, but I also read that everyone love's there palazzo once there stuff get's fixed .
So I just wanted to share what I think are small problem's that will be fixed soon and I also think you would have some of these small problem's in any new unit that you buy at any price point

Keep rolling
