We just picked up our 33.2 last week. Our price was a little more than 30% off sticker. I had a second dealer agree to the same price.

Congrats on the purchase. It sounds like you got a good deal.

After 1,200 miles from picking up the new 33.2 from Total Value RV on October 7th here is the report.

Bad things first:
1) Two of the cabinet doors have failed. One is over the control panel and the other is also one that lifts up. Will work on repair myself.
2) Freezer door wants to come open by itself. They said they adjusted it at Total Value RV, but it is still a problem. Going to work on that myself too.
3) Can't stand those side curtains. Gotta do something about that.
4) DW wants to know what the temperature is out side and I don't think we have a monitor for that.

Not a bad list (yet).

One major scare. Got home and ready to unload. Started the generator to provide extra power for the big slide and tried extending the slide. Nothing!! Heart failure!! Guess what, you cannot extend the slide with the motor running. Turned of the engine, left the gen running and everything worked fine.

Good things:

1) Lots more room than we are used to
2) Love that household frig
3) Learned how to use some of the message center today. It said I was getting 13.5 mpg (at 58 - 60). I'm not sure I believe that, but have not checked manually yet.
4) Lot's more positives

I think we are happy campers!

Don't understand this one. Didn't you get a refigerator lock that keeps both refigerator and freezer door closed? Without that lock both doors will open by themselves in a turn or rough road.

Yes, that is how we are currently keeping it shut. I am talking about when we are parked. I don't expect to keep the refrigerators lock on while I am setting still and level.

The mileage number on the computer is only accurate with enough samples. It is accurate when you hit about 200 miles on a reset.

As for the rest, sounds minor, so you are doing quite well!

Welcome to the group. I know my family is really enjoying our new rig. We put on 5000 miles over the summer an no major issues (that would require a dealer visit).

Ah, the rest of the story, as Paul Harvey would say.

Check if the refrigerator itself is level when the coach is level if you have not already done so. Residential refrigerators typically have feet that level the unit by rotating.

Going to try that first. I really think that will be the solution.

I'm buying a 36.1 but we've not signed the paperwork. I seen a lot of scary posts about slide problems. Mostly in the 2013's I guess? Does anyone know if the slide problems have been fixed? I'm planning on calling Thor on Monday to ask.
Just looking to make an informed decision.
Thanks for the time,
Paul
