Why would I want to go 1000 miles to get something repaired at Red Bay when there is an authorized Tiffin service center 30 miles away? I'm not sure I understand the point of your post.

An authorized service center does not mean that they will fix it in a timely manner. You are still at the manufacturers mercy to get things done. My next door neighbor has a new 45 ft allegro bus and they have a serious problem that no one has figured out in about 2 months. He will probably have to go up ALABAMA to get it fixed. I do notes with dealers, I just go to Thor . Sounds like you need a Newell . I can't afford one.

We love our coach !!

2014 Manual

Thor now has a manual online that says it is for 2014 Palazzo. I was hoping it would be better than what we have seen before, which is really terrible and misleading as it does not match the Palazzo.

Unfortunately I don't think it is going to be much help. Although I have not gone through it yet, right on the cover page it says "Class A Diesel" which tells me it is still one size fits all for both Tuscany and Palazzo. It is still 142 pages long and a quick glance at the table of contents shows "Power Cord Reel" which we don't have.

Very disappointing after all the negative comments and suggestions about the manual that Thor cannot produce a manual that matches our coach and is more complete on how to operate and maintain it properly. I am willing to bet that they could save a lot of money as well as have happier customers if there was a good manual. There would not be nearly as many calls to tech support and I expect fewer warranty issues. The Freightliner manual is much better and should serve as a model to Thor.

It is a good thing we have this forum (which I understand is sponsored by Thor) to make up for the inadequate manual. As I am new to RVing I would have been lost without all the great information that has been shared here.

I have never used this product however I have read a number of posts on iRV2 where people have responded very positively to this product however it is expensive.

I've used 303 protectant for many years on tires, plastic trim and anything rubber on all my vehicles. Has worked very well. On my tires, I use Bleche White whitewall cleaner first, then apply the 303 after the tires are dry. I haven't used it on the TPO roofing yet, but I imagine it would provide the same level of protection.

BTW, a little goes a long way with the protectant.

Was told by a tech that it's the best thing to use on the front plastic shield.
Hard to find.

303 Protectant is available --- try Amazon, Walmart, AutoZone, etc.
We use it every month on our tires.

We just bought new 2014 Palazzo. I was reading the paperwork from Good Year and they say the tire has protectant built in the rubber and NOT to use anything but mild soap and water. They mention not to use anything petroleum or silicon based. What else is there? Mineral?
Anyone have thoughts about Goodyear's info?

Question Squeaking Noise in Big Slide-2014 Palazzo 33.2

I've a very annoying constant loud noise coming from the top right side of large slide that occurs while driving. This noise is right behind the driver's seat and its driving me nuts. I've identified it as a warranty item to CW and hoping it will be fixed next week. Has anybody else experienced similar problem that identified the cause and how it was fixed. Would appreciate your feedback to help the CW tech so that it won't become a chronic recurring problem. Thanks
