It would be nice to be able to plug something in with the doors closed. Had outlets on our Class C on both sides with covers like on our power inlet. Never had an issue with water.
Guess it's a personal thing; I turn the water pump & propane off while traveling. Turn the water pump on when needed. Again, my wife is 5'2". She has a hard time reaching the switches over the steps.

Mini-meeting of Palazzo Owners
Well not exactly. TheArnolds and I had lunch today. It was very nice meeting Jack and Karen. My DW already had lunch plans so she could not go. Hopefully this is just the beginning of future meets with them and other Palazzo owners.

Looks like two similar looking Palazzos will be on I95 as we are headed to Miami this weekend.

The biggest selling points for me on the Palazzo, which echo most of the sentiments already submitted:
- the size and drivability
- the bunk layout and flexibility (much better than the Berkshire 390BH)
- the usefulness when buttoned up on the road. Many of the 3 or 4 slide models were almost unusable unless parked and expanded.
- bedroom layout - great use of space
- and, it is a very nice looking RV
We are really looking forward to picking it up at the end of April !
On our order, they indicated a couple of things. First, that it would be a 2014 which had a couple of changes. First, something about frameless windows and some type of chassis update. Has anyone else heard about the updates?

I too am wondering about the changes on the 2014 year. Since you are getting you rig a month befor me I would assume that the one being built for me now (10 weeks is a long time to wait I've discovered) will have the same characteristics. Where did you hear about the changes. From your dealer? .. Do tell! I am meow ever to hear you are getting a 33.3. They really seem like the best option for my family and obviously great minds think alike

We will be continuing our trip to Florida Saturday morning ( final destination, Lazy Days Campground Tampa) with an overnight south of Savannah (KOA-Savannah South).
PM us if anyone is near Tampa and maybe we can meet someplace.

Confirmed: 2014 model is being built for me.
Changes are (direct from the Thor Wholesale Rep - not the dealer):
Frame-less Windows.
2014 Chassis (mine will be on the 2013 chassis - using them up i guess. The only difference here is some emission equipment and a 3k+ bump in price)
Two tone Leather in the cockpit. Apparently the accents are done in a subtlety contrasting color.
In addition the Folkstone exterior will be offered as well.
Oh and just a tid-bit here: he said to date there are 195 Palazzo's sold since they were offered. 161 last year and the rest already this year.

Thanks for the up-date.
195 sold......... that is outstanding. Don't know why we don't see more on the road. Guess spring time will tell the difference.

The info I got was from the Thor rep, as well. They only mentioned a couple of items off hand when we placed the order. Thanks for the confirmation and additional info. I expect mine will be the 2013 chassis, as well.

Camping World St Augustine has the first 36.1 I have seen and just sold yesterday. They also have two Palazzos in stock.
