Ed,
Just so you don't get surprised some time if your TV does not turn on, they are not 12V. You are correct they work off the coach batteries when not on shore power or generator but only if the inverter is turned on.

Jerry, I just checked the owners manuals for the three TVs on my 33.2 (JE3212LED and JE2612LED) and they say "Power Source DC 12V 7.5A"

I fixed the shower fixture problem with a bracket I made to slip over the water line nuts from the back side. I have a picture but do not know how the attach it. I had no confidence in the CW techs after a blown attempt to correct the shower door alignment.

Greetings from the Colorado High Country!!! (Windsor @ 4800') I don't know for all coaches out there but I checked my owners manuals and they are shown as 12v. In that they are always changing components when they build these units we could both be correct. I was confident my TV units were 12v because I had the one above the table crap out and had checked out the power source before calling Thor. They replaced it while under warranty without a problem. By the way if anyone has to replace one of the 12v units they are pricey. It probably would be cheaper to put a regular TV in its place and power it through the inverter anyway.

We love traveling in our Palazzo!!!

Ed and GoldDigger,
Thanks for the correction. I don't have my manuals or Palazzo available to see if there is a difference with my 33.1 but I know there is a blue LED on the front of the TV that comes on when 110 is available. I thought that was an indicator of power availability to turn on the TV.

Jerry,

Mine is like yours. I use the blue led light on the TV to let me know the inverter is on and more importantly the refrigerator.

Thanks guys, good to know I'm not the only one. I also use looking at that blue light through the windshield after flipping the circuit breaker to confirm shore power operational when I hookup at home.

Greetings once again!!!!! The small blue light on the TV sets must work according as to what type of set one has in their coach. According to a number of you the small blue light only comes on when you are either on shore power, generator power, or battery/inversion power activation.

I just checked my unit which has 12volt powered TV sets. While hooked up to shore power my blue light was on. When I shut the shore power breaker off the blue TV light remained on. Without turning the inverter on I turned the TV set on and it functioned as normal. The only way to get the TV blue light off in my coach is to hit the kill switch to all the house electrical.

This confirms my earlier comment that they keep changing designs and components at the factory from one unit to another.

We love traveling in our Palazzo!!!

Regards,
Ed Starck

Question for 33.2 owners

The rubber sweep seal that is installed along the bottom of the dinette and back to the stove. Do you have the same rubber sweep seal installed along the bottom of fridge, pantry and washing area back?

Greetings from Colorful Colorado!!! I just checked my 2013 33.2 for the floor sweep on the slide out. I only have a sweep under the slide starting at the sink cabinet and ending at the refrigerator. We only have the sweep under the sink/stove cabinet. We have camped in some cold areas with wind and have not experienced noticeable cold drafts in that area. ?????

My full wall slide rattles very badly when driving. I have to pull over, pull it out slightly, then bring it back in every hour or so. Additionally, when the slide is in, the lower front corner of the slide protrudes further than the other three corners. I suspect there is something wrong there. It doesn't come in all the way. It sticks out about an inch or more away from the exterior, but only on that one corner. That is the same place where the loud rattling is.

I took it in for warranty service and today was told that Thor says I need to use my travel bar. That in order for the slide to stay put, the travel bar must remain in place.

Has anyone else experienced this issue, and if so, what was the resolution? I never had to use the travel bar before, not on our 2014 Hurricane with the same full wall slide.

I want to make sure this issue is addressed before my warranty runs out.
