Nice to hear about your trip! As for posting pictures...go to the search box at the top of the page and type "posting pictures" and the top search result has a post from Lori, iRV2 Admin that has detailed instructions.

Merry Christmas and Happy RVing!

We will be there for a a couple days between the 18 th & 26 th. Never real sure on our actual schedule. Don't make real plans other than we know there are certain stops we plan to make along our way.

If there is anything "RV" that you want or need you can get it at Quartzsite. Tarp straps to Solar to windshields or windshield repair. Many dealers bring their coach inventory there to show & sell. New & used.

This area is big for rocks & gems. There is a big area that has rocks & gems. (I think it must be there year around)

Simple to find a place to set up camp. We don't stay in a RV park but I'm sure that's a possibility too. There are a couple of what I would call "drive thru" dump stations & water fill station. Never used them either. I think $10 to dump.

We come in from the east and get off at 1st exit go south to 1 st road left (show & big tent will be on ur right). Go east along frontage road a couple mile park anyplace you want. You can park close to the road or go a mile or two out in the desert (rocks). This ground is really like a parking lot. Like a rocky landscape. Cool.

We will check out Slab City, Rockabilly Reunion (feb 14) in Lake Havausu, Death Valley NP (again)
Barstow Cal (family), Oatman Az, Grand Canyon NP (plan is to walk to the bottom ??)

There for sure will be no shortage of things for you to do in that area

We picked up our Palazzo 36.1 in Alvarado, Tx last week. The whole process was delayed because of the ice storm. The techs at Motor Home Specialists could not have been more helpful. They fixed all of the problems we found and answered all of the questions we had while there. There will,be many more questions as we learn how to ring all the bells and whistles on this thing.

We drove to the Austin area in the rain on Friday. The Palazzo handled so much better than our 11 year old gasser. It was not nearly as tiring to drive under the bad circunstances. There was a small water leak in the main bay, but in general things stayed dry. After reading posts about leaks, I was pleasantly surprized. Thor must be reading these forums and working to correct problems,

Greetings from Colorful Colorado!!! Welcome to this site also. This site provides a lot of good info and help with Palazzo issues.

We also purchased our Palazzo 33.2 at MHSRV a year ago this past November. Likewise, as your experience, our purchase and support was good also. A great place to stay over night at one of their sites was also terrific for the couple of days we stayed there. We have put on about 12,000 miles the first year - not nearly enough.

We love traveling in our Palazzo!!!

Regards,
Ed Starck

Have you had any problems with the slide out? Any issues at all with the Schwintek motors and gears? Would like to see some pictures of your rig.

Greetings from Colorado - "The Mile High State". When we had the final walk through and inspection the large slide retracted to within one inch of complete retraction. The Tech replaced one of the slide controllers and adjusted the same. Since then the slide has worked fine. The only thing I have noticed is that on the large slide the front portion nearest the driver fits tighter on top than the bottom edge. I always make sure the unit is level before operating a slide. No problem with the Schwintek motors and gears. I hope I am not knocking on wood here!!!!!!!

As far as pictures I will try to get some taken and posted if I can figure out how. I read back a few posts Jack Arnold gave some info as to getting pics on this thread. Will try to get that done this weekend. Later.

We love traveling in our Palazzo!!!

Regards,
Ed Starck

Hey Ed,

What I do is post my pictures to photo bucket, it's very easy to do and all you have to do is click and drag into photo bucket. Then when you want to post a picture to the forums here all you do is copy the link from photo bucket and past it in here like this...

Wow!!! I am sure that is disheartening on your part. My 33.2 has never looked as severe as that. Have you gotten your units problems resolved yet by Thor or your dealer? I hope so that you can get past the problems and travel/use your Palazzo for your enjoyment. Thanks for the picture posting information. Will try posting some pics this weekend.

We love traveling in our Palazzo!!! Regards,
Ed Starck
