Come on down to Myrtle Beach Travel Park. We will be there from April 21st until May 21st.
What about some of you Carolina Palazzo owners? MB would be a short trip for you.

Would love to join you however I have the following plans;
Tri-State Travelers Rally (FMCA Chapter) April 25-28, New Paris Ohio
Thor Diesel Club Rally Eureka Springs AR May 2-10
Thor Elkhart (warranty visit) May 20th
So as you can see I have no room in my schedule to make a trip to SC. Wish I could but I can't fit it in at this time.

The Marine Corps Museum is on my bucket list. I was stationed at Quantico several times but I have not returned since my retirement.

When I bought my Phaeton in 2009 I too was leaking coolant from the front. They replaced the heat exchanger in the dash, and that fixed it for a while. A year or so later it leaked again, and all I had to do was tighten the hose clamps.

Leaking radiator fluid up front.
Our hose clamps are tight. When the weather clears, we had freezing rain and high winds on and off most of the week, we're heading back to Freightliner. If all else fails we may go to Thor and see what they can do.

Hitch Electrical Connector
For those of us with "older" Palazzos that have the electrical connection for the hitch hanging down in harms way, here is the easiest solution.
On more recent Palazzos a bracket has been added the puts the connector up at the same level as the hitch and a little further back. The pieces to do this have a total suggested retail price of <$25. They are available from Etrailer.com or a local Tow-ready dealer.
Here are the Tow-ready part numbers:
118136
118137
If you have any hitch questions I got excellent service from Jackie at 800-632-3290.

More issues.
We finally got our coolant issue solved. Two clamps within the heat exchanger had worked loose. The clamps are not visible from the outside. The heat exchanged had to be taken apart. Something that is above my pay grade, Freightliner in Grand Rapids, MI solved the problem.
Second area of concern was burned out lights in the living room and bed room. The fixtures rotated when I tried to take to lens cover off. Not sure what to do next I had my dealer change to bulbs. They had to pull the fixture down far enough to get a grip on the housing and then were able to remove the cover. The tech's comment was to be careful when pulling down the fixture because if it comes all the way out it's difficult to get back in place.
Thirdly, I had trouble with the hoses to both windshield washers breaking. They seemed brittle and split in several places making the washers useless. I tried replacing the hoses but getting correct size has been a challenge.
Just thought I pass along some issues I've run into.

I had the same issue on the drivers side. I went to an auto parts store and purchased some replacement hose that had a thicker side wall. Unable to match the hose that came with the coach. I was able to route the hose and reconnect with one exception. The original hose routed through the spring but the new hose was to large to go through the spring so I used a plastic tie wrap to secure to the top loop of the spring. It works and is more robust then the OEM hose. I have enough hose to replace the co-pilots side if it breaks

Antenna Upgrade
Thinking of replacing the crank-up antenna system with a Jack system.
Anyone looked at or done similar.

Tom,
I have been considering the same thing. Another iRV2 member, his screen name is DriVer, has a blog that goes through the entire removal and installation with text and pictures. It looks fairly easy.
