Inverter Compartment Fan

Since I read of Thor putting in an inverter compartment fan at the factory I tried to get it done at a service center. No dice. So if you do not have a recent Palazzo with the fan installed as standard equipment and don't want to pay to have it installed, go to the factory.

At $100/hour shop rate and who knows how much for the fan, I think I will see how well the warranty on the inverter holds up.

I need to work on that step wiring, its def ghetto of Thor to wire something like that.

As for the fan... it should be an easy install if given the right size fan.

The fan is wired through a thermistor. Not sure of the part yet, but I will research a bit to see if it is adjustable or fixed.

Posting the step wiring here, as well, as the thread I started.

Our trip buddy opened his steps to close to the curb. Bent everything up. Total rework after theat.

On our first MH, the little sensor on the door was broken off by a grandkids. Did not notice until an hour after trying to figure out why the steps would not close.
Found the sensor under the MH. Duck taped on as a temp fix.

Great !!

Went there last year. Absolutely beautiful and awsome!! If you get the chance the IMAX theater has a good overview show on the history of Niagara Falls. We thought it was worth seeing. Matter of fact we went to the first show of the day and we had a private showing!!

We also took in the Wine Tasting tour that is north of the falls area. Beautiful country. Enjoy !

We arrived in the Badlands yesterday in route to the FMCA Rally in Gillette, WY and the Freightliner Rally that kicks off the following week in Sturgis. Other then some high winds the past 1100 miles have been uneventful...knock on wood

Anyone else headed for these events?

Spent 4 days in Cashmere, WA at the Wenatchee River Bluegrass Festival where the temp got quite warm. Turned on both ACs. They definitely cooled down the coach but the cold air only came out from the AC units - just a really tiny bit of air came out from some of the ceiling directional outlets. I'm concerned because all of our other RVs (7 prior to our Palazzo) had cold air coming from the ceiling outlets as well as the AC units. Anyone else have this situation? I took off the AC grid (where the black foam filter is) and found some white 1/4 inch foam pasted on the inside about 4" by 14". I don't remember that same thing in my other units but the white foam will not come off without tearing. I'm assuming only wires, etc are behind the white foam but if anyone knows differently, please let me know.

A number of people at the festival have admired our unit and all its features. Makes one really happy to have a great looking, full feature unit.

On ours as with our last coach you need to close the large vent on the a/c units then it will direct the air through the ceiling vents. If you leave ths vent open only a small amount of air will come out the ceiling vents.

Do not remove the white foam you found inside the a/c units it belongs there.

Hope this helps?

Anyone know a way to re calibrate the tank level indicators or sensors? My fresh water shows empty when half and only one red dot when almost full.
