How bad is the noise? I know this is subjective but I was not surprised with some noise in such a large system. In mine I hear an occasional noise with bumps or rough roads but not enough to alarm.
I use the travel bar, don't know if that makes a difference.

Is the travel bar the same thing as the "slide locking lever" Just wonder if other Palazzo owners use one or two? I have one but haven't used it yet.

Yes. I have only one. I put it in front of the large slide on my 33.1. Don't know for sure but just assume that Thor decided the small slide was small enough not to need one and don't know where it could go anyway.

Don't know if this is your problem or not but sounds like the same.
Had nothing to do with the travel rod.

Where are these blocks located ? I have yet to hear back from my dealer,
if i could fix the problem myself I could go back to him and teach him how to do it so the next Palazzo owner doesn't have to wait as long as i have. thanks

Was not able to watch the process because of the labor law (not allowed in the maintenance area) but it's my understanding that the seal was removed from the outside of the slide to inspect the slide motor mechinery area.
Suggest you call Thor. They are real helpful. They may be able to send you instructions.

I had trouble with the bathroom door opening as we went down the road. After using 2 "travel bars", on the living room slide, that stopped. I also noticed far less noise as we travel. They did not come with my Palazzo. After I called Thor they sent me 2. I use them all the time now. BTW: mine is a 33.1.

Anyone in Colorado around Denver or Colorado Springs?
Hi Everyone -- I am considering purchasing a Palazzo but have not found one to look at yet. My family of 4 (kids are 7 and 8 years old) spent 80 days in a 5th wheel last summer visiting 8 national parks and 10 states. We are considering a year RV'ing trip to explore the history of the US. I am debating between a Winnebago Adventurer bunk model (it is a gaser, not diesel, but has been recommended by several people who had an Adventurer who switched to diesel but still like the Adventurer more) and the Palazzo bunk model. Less engine noise, higher cargo carrying capacity, "reasonable" price for a diesel, and floorplan are all compelling for the Palazzo.
If anyone is in or coming through Colorado near Denver or Colorado Springs, and willing to showoff your Palazzo, I would be glad to meet you. Seeing one would help make the decision. Also, I am looking for RV shows in the Spring that might have a Palazzo in the area -- if you know of one, please let me know.
Thank you,
-Chad

I'll look at Camping World again -- thank you. I had found some map showing dealers with the Palazzo and the nearest was in Iowa. I guess the map was not very current!

Your information does not tell us your location, but call the closest Camping World (google CW) and ask them to search the inventory of CW outlets within 200 or so miles...takes 5 minutes...or google Camping world in (state) and look at their units... lots of fun looking too...have fun.

Be glad to. I do know that Camping World in Golden has 2 and Camping World up North by Longmont has 2 as well.

I'll be heading up to Longmont to checkout the Palazzos at Camping World after Christmas. Thanks to all for letting me they have a couple to look at.
Merry Christmas to all!
