I learned a lesson the other day. DO NOT PARK CLOSE TO THE CURB - especially on the driver's side.

I had pulled the rig out to get some things out of the back yard so I parked it in the street and parked with the driver's side close to the curb. When I went to back up and get ready to back in the MH into its spot I heard a terrible crunching sound. I forgot about the generator's exhaust pipe sticking out about 6-8 inches. Well it is now well hidden under the coach (not by choice) along with some other damage to the fiberglass. I feel like a real idiot. I have backed in the MH many a time before with no problem and no spotter. One more thing to put on my check list....

On a related note, I almost damaged my step by parking too close to a curb on the passenger side. The step switch does not help to completely shut it off unless I am missing something. Would like to prevent the step from activating until I am sure of clearance.

We'd like to know the answer to this also. The coach is low and the step extended is very low --

If no one has the answer to this - guess a phone call to Thor technical line is next.

Just got a call tonight that the first buyer did not come threw , so now I will be getting the 33.3 in stock with Cinnamon shore paint The new color's that thor came out with are very nice but I didn't want to wait another 2 + month's and also pay a higher interest rate on a loan since rate's are going up as i write this. I should take delivery late this week or beginning of next week .

Thank you, I thought I was going to have to wait 2+ month's and that was going to be hard but now that I got the call , just waiting a few day's is hard knowing that I will be picking her up soon
I am buying the unit from Lazyday's in Tampa,fl and should be picking her up on Friday as long as everything check's out when they PDI her tomorrow or Thursday .

I have been wanting a palzzo since they first came out and been following the post on this forum since there where just a few name's on the first page list , "now there's over 60 " . I almost made a bad choice to save a few buck with a gas unit I'm glad the star's aligned for me to buy the palazzo first

3 option's are, drop down bed , outside tv and clear front mask

Mike,

I have added you to the list of Palazzo owners. We stayed at Lazydays in Tampa and like the campground and facilities.

Did they give you a Crown Club Membership with the purchase? If not ask for it!

Gary

Congratulations.
Do NOT depend on their PDI Spend at least a full day doing a test drive and going over everything and making sure everything works before signing anything. Best to stay overnight and make sure you know everything works as it should.

My brother recently did a test drive in a Palazzo and was extremely disappointed for several reasons but especially because the front end was shaking and steering wheel vibrating. The dealer said they would fix everything after he took delivery which is nonsense, they should fix it so the test drive shows how it drives.

I have been very fortunate and intend to remain that way but if I had not done such an extensive PDI I would not be so happy.

Just got my 33.1 in NC and drove it back to Columbus, OH. I passed a lot of gassers in the mountains. You will not regret getting a DP.
