Was that with driver and passenger? Our coach weighed 21,020 (1/4 fuel tank) when Thor weighed it at the factory @ production. So given our numbers, you are ony 1360 lbs additional - !

Thanks !!

Senior Moment -

For the life of me I can't remember or find if our coach batteries are being charged while the engine is running. The reason I am asking is that on our recent trip I noticed that when running the generator it wasn't charging the coach batteries. As it turned out the breaker on the generator had tripped and that was the reason for that. I was looking at the control panel and noticed that it did not show the coach batteries getting charged with just the engine running. I think that is he way it is supposed to be but I am having second thoughts on that.

The alternator charges both the chassis and house batteries. When the chassis batteries reach 13.2V the house batteries are connected and begin being charged. The control panel doesn't control or show charging by the alternator. You can use a voltmeter and verify that the alternator does increase the house battery voltage when it is charging them. When on shore power the converter charges both the house batteries and chassis batteries in a similar fashion. The charging by the converter will be shown in the control panel.

Thanks for the four corner weights. It is very useful to know them. I leave a margin when determining tire pressure. I will probably use 90 psi front and 95 psi rear.

Thanks
Good info!

Had a situation where shore power would not connect, generator power would not do anything (power), only had convertor power (and batteries were going fast.
Called THOR......... had a bad power transfer switch. They replaced at their cost...... all is well.

Battery Control Center

Does this battery control center issue have anything to do with Palazzo owners?
Have not received anything.

On another thread a post gave the models affected and Palazzo was not listed.

Something in the back of my head tells me that if you have the coach inadvertently in the "store" condition and are running the engine, you will also experience the same condition (no charging of the coach batteries). I believe the voltage display on the inverter/converter panel will reflect this. Next time I drive the coach I will confirm this.

AC UNITS

I am out on a shake down outing. My Ac units are very load inside. Is this normal?
