One problem is the screen hole is directly below the fan, ideally the screen hole should be across the the bay to cool off the inverter. Also, it would be nice If magnum has a high temp relay to trigger this fan on/off... May be worth a call to magnum.

That is the problem with Freightliner, nobody gives the same consistent answer regarding owner obligations. I called several Oasis Dealers in California in June and got several different answers from do nothing at 6mo/6000mi to do everything to we don't know. They all said Oasis means they do motorhomes not necessarily are they experts.

Also I made multiple calls to Gaffney, and got different answers from different people and sometimes different answers from the SAME person on a second call.

What to do, I went back and forth and decided to operate on a benefit to risk basis. Biggest risk expensive repair not covered due to"lack" of maintenance, benefit lower cost and hassle.

That is how I decided on Alignment check and rear end fluid change. Oil, Trans etc has NOTHING to do with Freightliner so it is ridiculous that mention it since it is Cummins (15,000 mile oil/filter) and Alison (10,000 mile on 3000 Trans) warrantees that you follow.

I thought about both of those things. A vent hole in the front of the compartment might take in rain water, but I will look at that. Definitely triggering the vent fan from the inverter would help.

Ok guys, I am definitely looking at a 33.1. I have been reading through your post and everybody seems (mostly) happy with their units. Lazydays still has a 2013 new. First, am I going to be happy with the Palazzo? Second, if so do I talk to them about the 2013 or have there been substantial changes making a 2014 more desirable?

The only thing I can see that is a major change between the 2013 and the 2014 is the flush mounted windows. Chassis and drive train are the same. There may be some minor changes in colors, fabric, etc. but the internal layout is the same. If you can get a deep discount for buying a model that is a year old and it is NEW, you are the first owner where all your warranties are in place I say go for it!

Good luck and let us know what you decide.

Go for it. The 33.1 seem to have less slide issues due to the smaller slide. I've got the 33.2 and have had some slide issues with the full wall slide. It's working good now. I for sure would buy another palazzo if I were in the market.

I have owned my 33.3 since May 2013 and I am very happy. It drives very well especially when you back off the 120psi tire pressure. I have had minor issues that the dealer dealt with. This forums has helped very much. Go for it.

Congratulations. I saw it got a sale pending on it this afternoon. I hope you enjoy it. David Jones the SE manager is trying to interest me in the 33.2. We will see what happens.

Thanks. Lazydays is quite the place. The campground is also pretty good. We are from NY and will be doing a 4 month snowbirding in the Palazzo at the Recreation Plantation campground in Lady Lake Fl.

I have a acme tow dolly coming tomorrow and they say 14 inch up from ground is ideal . So what do you think as far as a drop hitch 4 ,6 or 8 inch drop.

My 33.3 is at storage so can't measure now

Thank you
mike
