Yes, we're scheduled for Camp Freightliner on September 16-17. Wanted to go to the TDC event but I don't think we can wait that long to take the class.

Here's a pic of the mat from Sam's Club:

I'm sure it would work. One reason I wouldn't use it is all those indents. They would collect water and freeze in the winter and in the summer be a good place for mosquitoes.

I haven't been keeping up with the mat quotes but in our area Tractor Supply Co has rubber mats. I have one of them in my pick up bed. I have cut them up for other purposes. Probably work for tire mats

No, not this year. We will be going to Land Between the Lakes Kentucky and onward to Elkhart for the Great Lakes Region FMCA Rally, a quick visit to Thor and then we head for Austin Texas for the winter.

Thanks!
Jack

Greetings from the Colorado High Country!!! I have been following this Palazzo thread since I met Jack Arnold at the TDC rally in Eureka Springs, Arkansas this past May. JoAnn (DW) and I met a lot of great and welcoming members of the TDC. Had an absolutely wonderful time at the rally, especially since we were first timers and knew only one other couple. Felt great to be parked next to two other Palazzos of the three others at the rally. In November of 2012 we traded our 09 Coachmen gas Freelander for a 2013 33.2 Palazzo. What a dream to travel in compared to our class C unit. It only took a few hundred miles on the road to realize that.

Please add us to your Palazzo list. Although we are in the learning process of how to navigate this site, we plan to be contributing members to help others or be helped with Palazzo issues.

Respectfully, Ed & JoAnn Starck

Ed,

Good to hear from you and welcome to our growing group of Palazzo owners! Karen and I send our warmest regards to you and JoAnn!

Over the next 6 weeks we will be headed out to Kentucky with some friends and then to Elkhart (FMCA Great Lakes Regional Rally) ending up in Austin Texas for the winter. We will not be able to attend the TDC rally in Elkhart this year (Oct 6-11) due to other commitments in Texas however we do have the Spring 2014 TDC rally (Myrtle Beach) on the calendar. We hope to see you and JoAnn out and about along the way so please stay in touch.

Happy and Safe RVing!

Jack & Karen

Jack, I don't know how familiar you are with the Austin area but here is another area to look at....beautiful country west of Marble Falls. Just a short distance from Austin and certainly worth a road trip with your Jeep. If you go, stop at the Blue Bonnet café, just north of the river on Hwy 281. If you need any Palazzo stuff, there is a good CW on IH35 just north of New Braunfels. Enjoy south Texas....and if you need any other "things to see" let me know.

I guess the moral of the story is if someone hasn't looked into DP's they think they cost a lot more then they do. I also told him he can buy one for the $ 300k range and it will have more glamour inside and he was was more then happy with the palazzo interior as I am also

Hi Mike,
Thanks for bragging on the Palazzo! We have a 33.2 and we love it!! Please tell that man that if he is interested in a 2013 36.1 the RV dealership where we bought ours has one for sale. It is at Johnny Bishop RV in Columbus, MS. They gave us a really good price on our 33.2 and they fixed all our slide issues with no excuses or problems.

I attended a TDC rally earlier this year in Eureka Spring, AR and we had a wonderful time and met a lot of very nice people.

FCOC (Freightliner Chassis Owners Club) like the TDC you get the first year of membership free and it is $10 a year ($45 for 5 years). It is run by its members and is sponsored by Freightliner Custom Chassis. It is also a chapter of FMCA therefore you must be a member of FMCA. Being a member you get 10% discounts at participating Frightliner service shops...one service trip and you get your dues back plus! In addition you get discounts from O'Reilly's Auto Parts and because Freightliner is owned by Mercedes your get discounts at Chrysler like an employee which could save you thousands if you are in the market for a Jeep or Chrysler product. We attended their last rally in Sturgis (75 coaches) and it was great!

If you are a Palazzo owner I strongly suggest that you join these 3 clubs (FMCA, TDC, and FCOC) for the reasons mentioned above.

If you have any additional questions please let me know?

Safe Travels!
Jack
