Just thought I'd report on our generator error code "17" experience. Like others we got this code with low hours (9.1). We took our coach to Cummins Powers Systems in Manassas Va. They reported that these fuel pump failures are due to a bad diode in the pump electronic controls. They didn't indicate a recall, but referenced a service bulletin (CPGF-S-00000210-0). The revised fuel pump apparently is labeled with a "TH" code. Fuel pumps from generators built in the last quarter of 2012 and early in 2013 apparently may have these bad diodes. CPS kept the unit over night and we were ready to go at 5 the next day.

Thanks for the detailed report - it certainly will help those of us who might experience the same problem.

[QUOTE=DPCruzer;1584014]I recently found mouse dropping in the coach, more specific in the large storage compartment as well as the kitchen cabinets and dining area of my 33.2. I assume they are getting into the storage compartment via the chassis rails following the cable looms. I looked, there are big holes in there. It should be fairly easy to seal them with foam. The challenge is going to be the large slide. Any good ideas on how to seal then off?[/QUOT

Get a bottle of Peppermint Oil. Mice, Squirrels, Rodents in general don't like mint. They are supposedly allergic to it. Anyway, use a couple of drops of Peppermint Oil and mix with some water in a spray bottle and spray around your wheels and Jack Stands. You can spray the underside of the coach, but try not to get it on the painted areas. You can also get a mint potted plant for the inside of the coach (provided you can get to it to water it).
I hope this helps! My brother just spent 4K repairng "mouse" damage to wiring on an Alegro Bus. Mice will also go after wiring inside a car that is kept in storage. Something about the coverings on the wires that they LOVE to chew/eat.
Good Luck!

Palazzo 2013 33.1 for sale

I have no use for the W/D combo, and the 33.1 is significantly lighter according to Thor, which would give me some more towing headroom.
I don't know if you found a Palazzo 2013 33.1 to buy yet, but if not, the dealership near us has one for sale.

2013 Palazzo 33.1 at Berryland Campers
42775 Pleasant Ridge Rd.
Ponchatoula, La. 70454
888-863-9476

I hope this helps you find what you are looking for.

When we had them I also thought they came in through the heating system. So I blocked of all registers with the magnetic heat register covers and installed installed about 8 of the electronic rodent deterents in the coach and large storage compartment (my coach stays plugged in while in storage). We have not had any problems since.
I did not know about the mint oil. I will try it as an additional precaution. Thanks for the tip.

At the factory tour, the tour guy indicated that there would be new models that they would announce at their open house in September that wouldn't be available for the Hershey show. Unfortunately, the open house is for dealers only. He also intimated that the 33.1 floor plan may come out in a new 35' unit. Guess I will have to wait until fall to make an order.
If you are still looking for a 33.1 there is a 2013 33.1 for sale at Berryland Campampers in Ponchatoula, Louisiana. 888-863-9476

I know it isn't close to you, but it is a 33.1!!
Hope that helps.

Thanks...found a 2014 at Tom Jonson Camping Center in Concord, NC. Did the deal via Internet and phone. Did a one-way car rental, drove down and brought her home. Would have preferred a closer dealer but for 33.1's you've got to jump on what is available. As it turned out, found one that matched what I would have ordered.

Bill,

Did you ever put on awnings or a rain gutter?

We have talked about it. Would really like to go. We could not go last year because of family business.
We have season tickets to ECU games and there's a game that weekend but we may sell the tickets and come up there.

I saw a Palazzo (believe a 33.2) at Tom Johnson's RV Center in Marion that had window awnings installed. Really looked great. Am considering doing the same.
Don't know if it was the same "Bill" but here's his email if you want pictures. The couple were on a cross country trip from Yuma, AZ.

Tom,

Thanks. I am considering doing it also. At least on the two bedroom windows and the windows over the couch and dinette.
