I'm curious as to the awnings you are referring to here. Do you mean the fabric awnings around the windows or exterior awnings? If exterior, I have no idea what those look like but they sound interesting. I'd love more info, please.

Exterior awnings over the windows.
Carefree has them. You can check out their website.

I sent an email to Bill asking about the awnings. He replied back and said the awnings were purchased from a company called Carefree. Here are the specs on his:

Color---charcoal tweed
Fabric---sunbrella
Style--SL-Uniguard

Here's a link to SL Uniguard on the company's website:
Carefree SL Window Awning

They don't have any photos of their motorhome, but I've attached some that I found online.

Has anyone had trouble with the CD player not working? Our radio works but when inserting a CD it does not read or play - says something like "disc error" -- ?? Just wondering if this is/has been a common problem with the Jensen unit -

Having an appointment this coming week to have the large slide repaired, I attempted to retract the slide, knowing I would probably encounter the same 2-3 inch gap at the bottom of the slide, but not bad enough to preclude me driving it to the dealer. Well, I ended up in the same situation one other member encountered, namely the top of the slide would not retract at all, and the bottom retracted 8 inches and then stopped! None of the recommended workarounds would get the slide to move from this cockeyed position. Thor support authorized a mobile RV service to come out & free it up. After 2-1/2 hours of trying everything he & I could come up with to try, Thor recommended cutting both of the aluminum shafts that connect the upper & lower gears on each end. The shafts were severely bowed indicating the tension they were under. Once this was accomplished, the motors were able to retract the top of the slide sufficiently to get the slide parallel with the sidewall, and we were able to push the slide in manually.

As you can imagine I'm quite apprehensive about the successful slide mechanism replacement at other than the factory. Traveling there is just not an option for us now. Will keep you all posted ...
Ended up delivering the coach to Tom Johnson Camping in Concord, NC on July 16. A week later they hadn't even looked at the coach ... After a lot of encouragement on my part, they assessed the situation with the slideout and took another week to get the authorization for the warranty repair & to get the parts ordered. Parts did arrive, except for one slide mechanism assembly. That, I was told, was back-ordered from the manufacturer, and Thor was waiting for it to be delivered, estimated to arrive at Thor on August 21. Then, it will be shipped out to Tom Johnson, and a realistic estimate by them was for it to arrive in Concord by Aug 26-27. A few days to accomplish the repair - I probably have a chance of being able to pick up the coach Labor Day weekend, but I won't hold my breath

Will post an update on that happy event ...

Have you tried another disc? They can get scratched or fingerprints which can drive the laser crazy.

Yes, we tried two -- and not burned CD's -- new ones that have been played on other units so we knew they should have been okay.

Sorry about your slide issue. It appears that the big slide is a recurring problem with the 33.2/.3. After our slide was adjusted at the factory service center, we've not had any further issues (knock on wood) but with the 33.1 we have the smaller slide (less weight).

You would think that THOR could identify those coaches that have the smaller motors and notify the owners AND provide a kit to up-grade the slide gear. Just my thought.

It couldn't find it either. It may be that it's not on their website. We may have to call and ask. I love these awnings and would very much like to have these on my 36.1. I hear the Sunbrella fabric is the way to go.
