I have a 2010,150 automatic. Ford says not to tow it or I will screw up the transmission.

It was either 11' or 12' when ford made the f150 4x4 models flat towable.
I would have to check the actual manual but you basically put truck in neutral and turn from 2h to 4low in a sequence of back and forth 5 times in 7 seconds and then your electronic display will say vehicle ready for flat towing.

I know my truck could be towed. The answer I was seeking was whether or not anyone is pulling one specifically behind the palazzo.

Curious if 300hp and the rated torque is enough and whether or not you could get 10+ mpg doing so?

Thanks

I tow a 1400 pound trailer with a 4300 pound car and get about 10.5 mpg at 65 mph. I would think you would see something similar or better.

What is the accuracy of the MPG in the dash display. I will be checking mine but I wonder what others have found.

We have checked ours and it is fairly accurate. We are getting 11.8 to 11.9 towing a Jeep Wrangler and averaging 60 miles an hour.

It depends on where you drive and how fast you drive. On relatively flat land at less than 65 MPH I think you will be good to go. In mountains or other extended 5% or more grades you will notice the weight and MPG will go down.

If you do not run the generator between fill ups it is fairly close. I track my mileage in a computer app and have found that the generator useage is not counted on the dash display.

If you disconnect the drive shaft, that should eliminate any concern with the tranny since it will be non-operating while being towed. All you need to do is put the shift selector in neutral to unlock the steering wheel.

I will pass along my experience with VMSpc which I have uses for ten years to monitor my Ultrasport DP. I updated it in order to monitor my 2014 Palazzo 33.2 with the ISB 6.7 engine. I found that many spurious codes were being detected along with some valid but harmless ones. The check engine light never came on. I corresponded with Silver Leaf reps and ended up with a modified version of their software. It solved the spurious code problem. I don't know when the problem began with VMSpc and the 6.7 engine but it must have been recently resulting from a modification made by Cummins.

Well, we're "motor homeless" again. Just took our 36.1 in for big slide problems again. This time front will go out...back doesn't. That's to go along with water on the table...again, and other minor stuff. And when I went to take it to the dealer I saw the radio went out! So no cameras!!

Does anyone know if Thor made any changes to the 2014 slide systems or are they the same as the 13's and they are just putting out some lip service?

knock on wood my big slide has been good .
it also has 6 or 8 metal sheet's on the bottom of slide for roller's, I think I herd this was a new for 2014 , and the 2013's only had 4 metal sheet's with 4 roller's ?
