I have already installed the MOPAR wire harness for the tail lights turn signals and brakes. That was not an easy job as I had to remove the entire right side front fender and drill a 1-1/8 hole through the firewall. But once I got it all done I tested it out and it works as advertised. I was really impressed.

Hopefully today I will get the base plates install finished and the jeep will be ready to tow. I went with a Ready Brute Elite Tow bar. That will require removing the left fender to install the brake cable. There is one thing I like about the Jeep, it is easy to work on.

Back to your situation, it sounds like the jeep held up really good in the accident compared to a much larger vehicle. Something has to be said about that. But, think of it this way, that Jeep still has a rigid chassis and the Jeep weighs far less than that bug truck. If anything you must have hit the big truck and then bounced and slid in another direction. If you had been in a uni-body vehicle, the outcome might have not been the same.

Good luck on finding another toad. But IMHO, if the Jeep saved you from serious injury and serves you well, a 2014 brand new one would look look really good to me right now.
Yes probably will end up with some type of jeep. Funny thing is we didnt bounce off each other. We locked up and the fire department had to pry us apart.

Welcome to Palazzo ownership. Now you can change your info from Brand N.
Be sure to read everything in this thread and every other thread in this forum, there is a wealth of invaluable information.

If you are still in Rockville you should get in touch with Gingerla, another 36.1 owner nearby.

As you will see from reading the thread it is a Thor Diesel Club rally in Myrtle Beach the end of April.

Welcome to our group of Palazzo owners. Like Jerry said the rally is at the end of April. You have to join or be a member of both FMCA and TDC. Thor gives you your first year with TDC as a free bee!

OK. I hope that group can do both! I hope to come out to Ocean Lakes and meet the folks in the group! I'm not that far down the road.

Mike I will be there. I got a spot next to the TDC to hold a membership drive for tmcoc. That is when I plan to meet with you about the floor renovation in your coach
