Part # for chassis air conditioning unit's pressure switch?

2021 Palazzo 37.4

My RV's A/C unit (under driver's seat by the generator, NOT the ones on the roof!) recently stopped blowing cold air. It just blows hot air! Sometimes the cold air will blow for a minute or two (even though it's slightly cool at best) but then go right back to blowing hot air.

Took it to Premier Truck Group of South Dallas and they said they couldn't fix it, don't know what the part # is. So I guess it's up to me now!

Does anyone know what the part # to replace this faulty vacuum switch is? Please, we can't use the RV until the A/C is fixed.

TMC Customer Service (877) 855-2867 should be able to give you the correct part number.

Thanks appsol. Called Thor, they said it's a Comfort Air part, Thor has no idea.

So now I'm waiting on Comfort Air to get back to me.

For anyone who might have more information, the pressure switch says:

DNP 27
8J28
HP: 25 Kg/cm2 OFF
LP: 2.0 kg/cm2 OFF

Translates to 355psi/28psi.

I've found several switches that are close but not exact, like "Pressure Switch – Hi/Low 28/385 PSI (ProAir) 01 000 504"

Hi, look in the IRV2 files section under Heating and Cooling. You will find the Evans-Tempcon info there. I believe it will show the parts needed. Evans was bought out, but I believe they will be able to help you. I hope this helps

Sorry, I just read that your coach is a 2021, so this info probably will not help.So I guess just give Thor a call.

I'll update this thread with results once it comes in.

Update on this!

Comfort Air never answered their phone nor my emails, but I went ahead and purchased this switch, as it was the closest match to what I have: https://www.comfortairgr.com/product...sure-switches/

I received the item in 3 days which is great! Replaced it and tried it out, works perfectly.

I've attached images of the old switch (says DNP 27 on it) and the new switch (says PHL27 and has a red dot).

We have A/C again!

Thor Vegas 2021 Cockpit AC problems

I am on my third trip to Ford after the cockpit A/C would not work, even at time of purchase. Still under warranty. Thanks for that information and hope they replace the same switch. A/C would work then go dead on me. Blowing hot air instead. Took it for service and the air was cool, but not cold. Hope this is the last trip for this issue. Curt Manship at Thor was very helpful in sending Ford the schematic. Hope I have the same part replaced.
