Reupholstered dinette & sofa installed

I reinstalled my newly reupholstered dinette & sofa today. I hired out all the work except for making the drawers for the bases and I put the fabric on the bases. Now I need to clean up the outside and start traveling.
I really like having cloth fabric better than the old bonded leather.

Carl,
The cost of Leather would have been more than we wanted to spend. We went with the cloth fabric that was a fantastic price of $10 dollars per yard. I think we used about 25 yards for the dinette and sofa.

I purchased mine on sale 2100 bucks delivered. One double power recliner and one single recliner.
It was the heavy flex steel rv furniture I got rid of.
Yours looks really nice.

Thank God I proof read!,

Bob

Looks great. Mind mentioning where you had the work done?

Iím having the dreaded fake leather flaking off issue and am considering reupholstering the dinette and couch as well.

Thanks

I had Tommy at Thrifty Fabrics in Louisville, Ky do the reupholstering. They did all the work except for the bases of the dinette, because I was working on making the drawers for the bases. So I purchased. an Arrow pneumatic stapler and did that part myself.
Here is a screenshot of their web page

Thanks Bob.

Only about a hundred miles from me.

I will give him a call and schedule something in the fall early winter.

If Tommy does the bases also, there will be a higher cost. He keeps fabric in stock that may be over runs or left overs from different suppliers. We looked at what he had and chose a fabric that was $10.00 a yard. But he has much more expensive options also. We tried to be as frugal as possible with our fabric choice. Between the fabric he used and what I used on the bases , it took about 25 -27 yards to do everything. You would need to disassemble all the pieces. I drove our coach to him with everything disassembled and dropped it off, then drove our coach there to pick it up .
I suggest going there early as possible and let him look it over to get his estimate and pick out the fabric you like. He will then get a deposit and schedule a time for you to deliver the pieces. We had to wait about .6-8 weeks for our appointment.?

He may be more busy in the fall, I am not sure. So I advise contacting him soon to discuss having an estimate made.

Good morning, The omelette looks great. I am looking to update our dinette. Can you tell me if the bench is made in two pieces. Also how you removed it. Thanks for any help. Carl
