Magnum ME2012
Looking at specs, looks like each leg has 30 a max? 60 total but 30 per leg.

You are plugged into a 50 amp service. Your display should show that.
The inverter is wired for 30 amps, after the 50 amp breaker and has nothing to do with the display.
All of the power from the 50 amp plug does not go thru the inverter. Your air conditioner, water heater and a few other things don't.
There is no gauge that can measure what size breaker its connected to, unless you overload it until it trips. That's how amps work.

OK, you have the same problem I have. Although, it doesn't seem to matter that is shows 30amp on mine, the 50 amp is still on at the shore breaker and I am getting a full 50amps because I can run both ACs and then some. The vegatouch display simply does not reflect the 50amp service correctly.
My Firefly vegatouch manual says this:
"Power Source Select – 50 amp shore power will display automatically if connected to a 50 amp line (two phase). Tap to select 30, 20 or 15 amp if your coach is connected to a 30 amp line (single phase). "
However, as you have noted, yours and mine don't do that. That is why I was wondering if there is a software update. I had problems with some of the low voltage cutoff settings initially and called firefly 574-825-4600 (number from my manual) and they sent me a free software flash upgrade kit and a new screen and a box to mail back the old one. Everything else was fixed but I note mine still has he same 30amp max on shore power breaker on the display. Again, I am clearly getting 50amp into coach so no problem for me. If you find a solution, let me know.

This is the inverter screen, what you are adjusting is the battery charger output from the inverter/charger. It tells the charger to turn down charge amps to allow the max available power to flow through inverter if needed, without having the charger eat up all the amps. You only need to adjust if you are plugged into 30 or less amps or are blowing a breaker. Charger can pull 20 or more amps in bulk mode. If you are plugged into 30 or 15 amp cheater you can easily blow a breaker when charger hits bulk and you turn on microwave. Inverter measures power going through it, max 30 amps. It will automatically back off charger to keep max amps at 30. If you dial it down to 20 amps, it tries to regulate at 20 or less and so on.

Corc,
I agree with what you are saying. The 30amp is the max through the inverter itself. However, here is what

"Power Source Select – 50 amp shore power will display automatically if connected to a 50 amp line (two phase). Tap to select 30, 20 or 15 amp if your coach is connected to a 30 amp line (single phase). "

I think they have an error, probably from another coach. There is not shore power monitoring other than what the inverter reports. I do not think there is any ATS monitoring to determine 50 amp split phase, BUT I would love to hear what Firefly says to you.
