Sewer Hose Storage

I found that the Palazzo does not have a good sewer hose storage compartment so I made one similar to the one I made on my Ultrasport earlier. A ventilated separate compartment is ideal so I found an unused space next to the DEF tank on the passenger's side. I bought a length of coated metal shelving from Home Depot, cut it to lengths, and secured it with ties. I am pleased with the result shown below.

Way to go; make more work for me.
Just kidding, great idea, got me thinking , my current RinoFlex's fittings make it too large for the factory sewer hose holder , and having it in an air tight container , well it gets a little ripe. I do have a spot under the battery tray, but maybe too close to the muffler. HUMMMM.

I think Jims could be on either side depending on his date of manufacture...

In the OP he stated that it was on the passenger's side.

The mod should work for either side.

Jim , Looks like a nice addition . I'll have to try it when I get back home.
How are things going after your visit to Elkhart?
Our appointment is two weeks.
Are you aware of the Goshen TDC rally followed by the Cape Hatteras mini rally in October?

Bill

Thanks for asking about my warranty service at Elkhart. I was there four days and they changed the slide hardware. I required only the new steel shafts and lower gear ratio. My rollers were already up to date. The new aluminum gear teeth on the slide showed some initial wear but so far the wear has not continued at near that rate. Perhaps it is normal. I am using the teflon spray as recommended. They did several other things including replacing the leveler pump. If I have no more problems with the slide I will call the trip a success. It is a long drive in my case when the service was the only reason for the trip. What are you having them do when you go back? I will look into the Goshen rally. Is that Goshen, Va?
