Need feedback. Looking at 2018 Thor Pallazo vs Aria. Not familiar with the Thor. Currently have a Tiffin Phaeton which in excellent condition but our dogs take up the queen bed so we must have a king bed. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks

I'm not sure exactly what you are asking, but I'll try. The Palazzo is the entry level pusher, the Aria one step up. The Palazzo has a lighter chassis with a slightly detuned version of the same engine in the Aria, along with a lighter duty transmission. Tow and carrying capacities are therefor less, but it will probably get slightly better fuel mileage. Interior appointments are of a higher quality in the Aria, The Palazzo has a mid entry door, the Aria is more bus like with the front entry. Due to the chassis differences, the Palazzo has lower frame rails that limit basement storage compared to the Aria. We only personal experience with the Aria (2018). You may find much more info on the Palazzo in the Thor owners section where the Palazzo owners have their own sub-thread. If you have any specific questions about the Aria, you can PM me.

Thanks for your willingness to help. We’ve decided to part with our 2002 Phaeton ONLY because we need a king size bed to accommodate our dogs. Sure going to miss the quality of the Tiffin. We’ve decided to go with a 2018 Aria 3601. Funny that dogs rule when one becomes retired.
Thanks again
Stay well
Jan
