Taking the DW down to see the Palazzo this afternoon after she gets off work. Who knows, it might come home with us....

Just got back from the dealership. The DW liked the Palazzo and we struck a deal to buy it. Now I have to figure out where the money is coming from.... We pick it up on Monday.
I drove it briefly. Handles very well and the brakes will stop you on a dime. They are going to take some getting used to. Overall we are happy. We had already planned a trip to Jekyll Island so now we will be taking the Palazzo.

Very nice looking. The layout reminds me of a class C. The only negative i saw was the lack of clothes closet space, just like my old class C. Certainly plenty of other cabinet space though.
I noticed 2 new members who checked in over the past 2 days both bought one. They might be a good source f information on this coach.

Did you catch their usernames? I'm not sure how to do a search to find who they are.

Congratulations!!!!! Please let me know some real-world experiences and general thoughts as you take your trips and spend more time with the unit!! Glad it seems to drive nicely! Let us know how it handles out on the open road too (if you don't mind! )
I'm still looking really heavily at the Palazzo - LOVE the black/tan one. I'd like to see the other floorplan (33.2) in-person too. (From what I understand, the holding tanks are the same size as the 33.1, in case anyone else was wondering about that).
Again, congrats!!!!

Here is a pic that I took when I got it home this evening. I came home on the Interstate and it handled very well on it I liked the A.C.E. we had but this rig is so much more it is unbelievable.

34' Small Diesel Motorhomes
mmm, I don't think this was here just a few weeks ago... Looks like they have added a new 34' Palazzo diesel pusher floor plan for 2013: New 2013 Palazzo 33.2 Small Diesel Motorhomes (Class A Diesel Pushers)
I like that even though this are a smaller diesel motorhomes there are still seating for 10 people in the living space.

I noticed that the water capacity listed on your link indicated over 90 gallons. Prior Thor web sites listed the capacity as 50 gallons. Does any body know which one is accurate.
Also, does the coach have a engine brake? I could not find any reference on the web site.

My 33.1 has a 50 gallon fresh water tank. It also has an exhaust brake not an engine brake.

I just looked at the current website for the Palazzo. It shows the new 33.2's floor plan and I noticed that both it and the 33.1 now have a 95 gallon fresh water tank. Guess they made a change to the specs but the brouchure still only shows the 33.1 and a 50 gallon tank.

Thanks gmadams for the info on the exhaust brake. I could not find that info on any Palazzo/Freightliner documents.
I suspect that the current website indicating 95 gallons water capacity instead of 50 gallons is a misprint.
